What type of school did you go to?

The high school reunion thread got me wondering... what type of school did you guys go to?

While my parents briefly considered enrolling me in a parochial school, I ended up going K-12 in the public school system.

Grades k - 8 were in public school. Grade 9 begin in public school, then I transferred to a Catholic school until I left in grade 10. I then did some home courses via correspondence. After that, I got an Associate's degree in theology, planning on becoming a minister. But instead of pursuing that, I went to a secular, provincial university - one of the best in my province, getting a Bachelor's degree.

I've been to 7 different schools in 3 countries, all of which have different school systems (Scottish, German and English), all of them public (ie state run).

Private Christian school K-1st grade, private school 2nd-6th grades, public horror middle school for 7th grade, three years of public high school (started in 8th grade), two years at a private Christian school for 11th and 12th grades.

public too. I'm just looking through my old school photos, and there's one where I was 7... there's 29 people in the class

I'm trying to be a primary school teacher, but how in the world did my teacher handle 29 kids? lol I hope I don't have that many...

End of 2nd-5th, once weekly Gifted
6th-8th IMAST Magnet Program (with additional MEGSSS in 6th only)
9th & 10th Pre-International Baccalaureate program (despite the claims by the new school board superintendent that 'Pre-IB' doesn't exist...because that's exactly what they called it when I was there)
11th & 12th dual enrollment with self study

EDIT: Oh yeah, and sporadic classes at the local college post-HS.

K-to the middle of my 4th grade year, DOD school (Department of Defense), (for military children only), from the second semester of my 4th grade year through high school public school in the "awesome" Memphis and Shelby County School systems...college was a private school.

Public school from Head Start to HS graduation, except for 6th grade. I went to a parochial (Lutheran) school for 6th grade and I may not have loved public school, but I much preferred it to that parochial school.

I went to Catholic school up until eighth grade. For high school and college, I attended public schools.

I chose parochial - I went to a private (Episcopalian) school from 5th grade to 12th grade.

From kindergarten to 4th grade, I went to public school.
