• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What type of craft project are you working on now?

Here's my baby I Spy quilt that I finished a little while back :

And my fairy tale quilt in yellow :

And in Blue :

Also, a Blue Rail Fence (my only other completed quilt besides the I SPY...I am not a fan of all the actual quilting) :

Still cross-stitching a dolphin sampler for my daughter, but have been doing quite a lot on it recently, as my stitching slump seems to have hit the road, thank goodness! I can see me actually getting this finished soon!

I'm cross-stitching about 3 different things at the moment!!!!! Can never have only one thing on the go. In the process of doing a picture for one of my nephews - it was supposed to be for when he was born - he's now nearly 4!!!

I think you have to use a very fine drill bit and drill them.

oooo ok..

hmm somhow that sounds like danger..where would i get one

thanks for the advice

I would think at any local hardware store if you have a drill gun...if not they can sell you one...what are you going to do with the shells? is it for jewelry making? because there is also a drill press. But that is 250 bucks.

Presently I am working on improving my skills of drawing with pencil. Since I only have your ordinary pencil, nothing fancy, I'm having a bit of a challenge creating on bristol board. Have gotten some good comments on them.

I also enjoy beading but save most projects for when I'm trapped indoors.
