What type of Bible do you have?

Well, I have an apologetics Bible. It´s a kind of Bible that it has a lot of notes about fake religions so you can know more about them and then be able to tell people that are into those things about the lies that they´ve been living and confront them with the scriptures So,they will see that Jesus Christ Is The Way, The Truth And life.

I have all the possible translations you can have in my language (I think it's like 6) but I use the one which is by the reformed church. I also have English Bibles (Student Bible - NIV and TBS) and even a French one.

Oh yeah, I also have a The New Living Translation Bible (TNLT) but I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.

Most of the time I use a NKJV, but I also have NIV. I like The Message by Eugene Peterson, which is a paraphrased version of the Bible.

Robertson, a distinguished Greek scholar, wrote in his Preface to the third edition of A Grammar of the Greek New Testament in the Light of Historical Research, “The Greek New Testament is the New Testament. All else is translation. Jesus speaks to us out of every page of the Greek. To get these words of Jesus it is worthwhile to plow through any grammar and to keep on to the end.”

I own 2 basic KJV's, one I've had since I was 13. It is special to me since I've been through a lot with it, and it was a birthday gift from my grandparents, and then my grandfather died just over a year later. Plus I've highlighted meaningful verses and such. I AM thinking about getting a new one, though, for study and to compare with and such, maybe NIV, NLT, or the Message.

I mainly use New Living Translation but I also own a NIT since that's what my church uses and it's more common when needed quotes for message board type settings.

I received my Promise Bible, which uses the NLT with all of God's promises highlighted in blue from my Mother In Law after I became engaged to her son.
