What type of Bible do you have?

NIV and TNIV!

I prefer the amplified mysekf. I have NIV but I definitely don't think it's a good translation at all. Once you read something that goes more into depth things start to make alot more sense.

i like the NIV study bible, the Oxford Annotated (RSV), and my interlinear bibles with the Hebrew/Greek depending on the Testament.

My Bible is an NIV. It's a Zondervan one called "Strive: The Bible For Men" which is full of little sidebar articles and the like to help explain passages, help with parts of life, etc, all stuff to do with men things.

My old Bible was the NIV Teen Study Bible, which was also good, with helpful bits in it too. I used it until a couple months ago when I got the new one (I decided I had outgrown it at 21 lol).

I just love Bibles where they help explain what you're reading and how it applies today. I don't think I'd ever buy myself one that just has the text and that's all. Nothing wrong with them, but like I said, I like to have that little bit extra.

that's why i like the NIV Study Bible so much ...

The only Bible that I have are the New Testiment and Psalm Proverbs that were given out in college by the Gideons International.

I've got an NIV Women's Bible. It's alright. I like some of the sidebar things, but I haven't really gotten into the devotions (they only have one a week). NIV is my preferred translation, but I also like to go online and compare translations at www.biblegateway.com

I have three now, but my main Bible is the KJV Life Application Sutdy Bible. I really like it as it helps me get more out of the Bible.

I bought some Bible colored pencils for highlighting as I study... so far so good.

Perhaps it is better to ask me what type of Bible I do NOT have I come from a family of Baptists, so we have tons of Bibles

I used to swear by NIV (not literally swear by it ) but now I'm chucking NIV and sticking with KJV as much as possible.

well right now I have a New King James Bible that my church gave me for graduation, but I should probably get another one for Bible study.
