What tribe are you?

Crow on my fathers side, Cherokee on my mother's side. It is a odd combination since the two tribes didn't get along. My sister still has the beautiful four foot long Crow locks. I am not so lucky. I inherited hair loss which reduced me to just down on the head that isn't even black anymore.

"Princesses" was a British term applied to daughters of Chiefs or Shamans.... Natives didn't use the term.

How does one find their lineage? I know my mother was born on a reservation, but we have no contact with anyone. And I'm not sure how to move forward on seeking out more info.

I'm part Wintu. They are a small tribe from N Cal in the Redding area. I'm also part Cherokee on my Dad's side.
