They were here this morning handing over info about some meeting. … What do you think? Do you got experience how to handle them. I think I will let them in if I got time to chat.

I haven't had contact with them in years. I have had success in leading dozens over to Christ. As a result I was blacklisted by their elders who wrote my name and address on the back of their "Territory Card", as a result whenever the Witnesses canvassed the territory I lived in, they skipped my place.

I have moved several times since then, even relocating out of state, but haven't had any contact where I am. I've run into Mormons more than I do JW's.

The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses change their doctrines constantly, what was Truth yesterday is error today, and Truth tomorrow. This is all under the guise of "New Light" (Proverbs 4:18). And since the rank and file among the Witnesses are told that the Governing Body is the Lord's "Faithful Slave" class, whom He "appointed over all His goods", the Witnesses must accept whatever this "faithful slave class" teaches, because what they teach comes from God.

So before you or anyone else attempts to go toe to toe with them over Trinity, Hellfire, Immortal Soul or whatever doctrines you feel are vital for salvation, you MUST first debunk their core teaching that their leadership do not speak for God, that Jehovah DOES NOT have an earthly organization. Once they realize that, then everything they teach is suspect.

This is your mission, if you choose to accept this mission …….

I don't know if this is necessarily the right thing to do, but I answer the door to see who it is and I just tell them I am already involved in a Church and not interested. Why should I switch denominations? I see no good reason too unless I want to learn how they twist things up.

They were here this morning handing over info about some meeting. I just took the info and didn't say very much. I'm sure they will be back, and they probably want us to start a discussion. What am I to do? I like them to hear about Jesus Christ, God and saviour, but sometimes it feels like they are so ensnared in their own teachings that there is no use.

IMO, most people should be saying, "no thanks, goodbye" as you seem to mostly have done. The guys that come to our doors have specific goals and an agenda and aren't going to have a mentality to learn something new from a random stranger that is contrary to the very thing they are trying to do (evangelize their beliefs).

Talking to them is likely to not help them, but might, unfortunately, give you something "interesting" to think about. You can strike up a conversation with an elder of your church or at least someone farther along in their walk with Christ if you want to chat about something about God or beliefs. You could always ask the elder whatever question the guys asked you before you politely sent them on their way.

Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” (1 Corinthians 15:33, 1984 NIV)

Either way, set your hopes on learning from God.

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (John 16:13, 1984 NIV)

I have decided to let them in if they come back, and I will go all Jesus with them. Start with prayer before the conversation and so on. We'll see what it will lead to. I got a few arguments if they like to discuss the trinity.

True story.

Once when I was in my early 20's they came to my door and I told them I worshipped Satan and I never saw them again. I was of course unsaved at the time.

A second time much later in life they came to my door again. They wanted to talk about the Bible and asked to show me the passage they were talking about from my Bible.. I stated quite truthfully I didn't have a Bible and they asked if I wanted one. I told them yes because I thought having one would be good since id been talking to a Christian about Christianity and had wanted to read one. They told me they would bring a Bible for me the next day, and i never saw them again.

From those two experiences I learned one thing about Jehovah's Witnesses. They cannot share the Gospel because they don't know it, all they know is how to argue with Christians.

If you just want rid of them then tell them you would like to learn about Christ from point zero. They will never come back.

If you want to share the Gospel with them then I'd start with giving them a Bible, I don't think they have any.

If you haven't done so, I would toss their "information" in the garbage very fast. The Bible warns us not to have pagan things in our homes. Also, this may sound off the wall, but some who are into cults are also into witchy things like putting curses on objects. That practice is seen in the Bible.
.
what? you can put curses on objects? how does one do that and what does it do?
