What greater blessing can God give to you than Himself? If you are a born-again disciple of Christ, you have God as your Heavenly Father and His Spirit living within you. What more, then, could you wish for? Every other blessing is weak and small next to the blessing of God as your Saviour, Father, Teacher and Comforter. Maybe, though, your desire for more blessings from God shows how little regard you have for Him. If you knew Him as the Great God that He is, why would He alone not be entirely satisfying?
