You vote for either the felon who tried to overthrow our democracy or the old man. Those are your choices.
It's more like the felon, or the old man that's a figurehead for unknown, unelected, unaccountable, policy making bearuacrats operating the US government.

You didn't answer the real question, that the media and establishment have use gaslighting to paint a large portion of the American people. You're smart enough to understand what propaganda is. Gaslighting is just another form of it. To deliberately misrepresent people's perceptions.

Whether you have the "better" candidate or not, people don't like being gaslighted. It's a simple thing.

Gaslighting is also bad for democracy if you're not aware of it. Ever read Orwell's 1984? Where the powers be controls what people perceive.

And your phrasing is also problematic "felon who tried to overthrow our democracy". He was not charged with overthrowing anything. He is found guilty of falsification of business documents. Nor has the Jan 6 incident been anything close to overthrowing democracy. If you look at it objectively capturing a building for such a limited time achieves nothing. Have you seen real coups? They capture administration centers and media centers.

Jan 6 is nothing but exaggerations which it is. As an outsider I see that clearer than most Americans because I don't care for either side. I just assess the situation as it is. Which I can relate to another more similar incident which is the BLM occupation of major city blocks. Both with intend to usurp and exert control over a legal administrations. Setup a parallel administration over a limited border. Even then BLM occupation is no where near a threat to democracy.

The old man who's incoherent.

"Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! — but when you're a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are — nuclear is so powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? — but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us, this is horrible."

One can put a sentence together, the other is the master of the blank stare.
One puts sentences together which are bits and pieces, too often untethered to any actual facts, too often meandering aimlessly through well worn talking points that have little to do with one another, too often outright lies (documented). One speaks of violent retribution in authoritarian terms larded with admiration for such as Putin.

The other does have a stutter and pauses but at least can keep the end of a paragraph on the same subject as the start.

No, I'm sure Joe Biden has his hands on the levers of government; he's perfectly fine!

Just ask Robert Hur...

Hardly! He was talking about abortion, then stumbled into immigration and some girl who was murdered, then trailed off to nothing.

And your phrasing is also problematic "felon who tried to overthrow our democracy".
Why is that problematic? He is a convicted felon and he absolutely did try to overturn the results of a free and fair democratic election after he lost with zero proof that there was anything wrong with the results.
He was not charged with overthrowing anything.
Right and OJ Simpson was never a murderer. Not every criminal gets charged for their crimes.
He is found guilty of falsification of business documents.
That makes him a felon.

No offense but I really don’t care for a foreigner’s take on what happened on Jan 6. If you don’t support the democratic process, you don’t get to benefit from being elected through it. It’s as simple as that. Trump in my view screwed himself out of a second term when he decided not to accept the legal end of his first term. I might have otherwise even voted for him, believe it or not.

The white house, and the media, constantly told you not to believe your eyes. The mask is off, now what happens?
So, now we know they were lying about Biden. Do you think they may have been lying about Trump?

That's my main takeaway. It's time to examine the things Trump did in his actual capacity as president and ask ourselves, were we better off then? I know commercial real estate in the cities certainly was.

Of course not. They're secretive, crafty and leave no evidence. That's how you know they're there.
You know they exist because they’re totally indistinguishable from not existing at all?

If you say so.

I thought the cities were all burning from the riots Donald's last year. I know the economy crashed that year. Donald was an absolute disaster in a true crisis.

Almost all the cities that were "burning" in 2020 were led by Democratic Party mayors and Democratic Party majority city Councils. The states which had the longest, most restrictive Covid 19 rules and lockdowns were the blue states. Did the POTUS have the authority to step all over states' rights, and states' government because of the pandemic?

As were most of the ones that weren't. Seems like an observation which doesn't seem to have much predictive power.
