CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The question was asked, " What Time Is It?" When I clicked to see the older thread, to what it refers to, I received a "dead page." That reminds me of when I first joined this excellent forum. I put my url in my signature file, and I broke the rules. (unwilfully) I'm glad the leaders told me that was against the rules. That I needed to put my url in profile. They did exactly right to correct me because I had not really read the rules well. My point is...
God reminds us, " For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 2Cor 6:2
It is necessary for us to read Gods rules in order to obey Him and serve Him with a pure heart. This is the time now to do that. Not to put it off until we die, and go into eternity only to find we are bound for hell for ever because we didn't take time to read Gods Holy KJV Bible. We must obey the rules of God also, or we'll find all that God has in store for us "deleted."
