To start off with, I am FURIOUS. I want to cry a million tears and scream. I really need some support and advice on this... but most of all, I need prayer... not for me... for my best friend. Here's the deal...
Today my best friend (we'll call her Sunshine) got together with our youth pastor and his wife and went for a walk... to talk. This was pre-planned--he called her two days ago. His wife said next to nothing... but he said tons. To sum it up, he said Sunshine should seek counciling (SP?). Apparently, she might be checmically unbalanced... several people have had to ask the youth pastor if Sunshine is a lesbian or bi or whatever. Thing is, she IS a physical person... so I DO see where they are coming from... BUT... this chemically imbalanced thing... and and he said something about sexuality... I forget what she said he said. Anyone know where I can research this stuff? I mean, I guess this whole issue is a struggle for me... it's wrong to be sexually immoral... according to the bible... uh! I can't even put this into words so you can understand. But to blame it on being chemically imbalanced... I think that is obsurd. It's who she is... am I chemically unbalanced too? I'm a lot like her in the areas the youth pastor is talking about... we're best friends. Sunshine is not crazy... but THIS is going to make her crazy!!! I ache SOOOOOOOO bad right now... cuz I can't do anything... well, besides be there to talk and blah blah. To make it worse, she's going over west for 10 days tomorrow... so I won't see her. She numbs away stuff like this... she jokes with it (which can be good)... she says she will get "it" checked out... which is good. But oh my word... how did things get like this. *sigh* Anyone? ANYONE? Advice... place to research? Place to... whatever... I don't want to get involved... like with talking to my youth pastor about it... should I go to someone else? HELP!!!!!!!!!
What about bible verses? Anything?
