Da-da-da-da, da-da-da-da...yeah! I love that song tho, so I don't mind it being in my head. I played it not long ago at home! But I can see how it could be annoying...

I used to have this song and used to play it a lot too. Then my supervisor made a joke about it, and she'll call me and on my voice mail she will say "Da-da-da-da". I can't get away... *goes crazy*

:D

"Meant To Live"
by Switchfoot

Fumbling his confidence
And wond'ring why the world has passed him by
Hoping that he's bent for more than arguments,
And failed attempts to fly, fly

We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
Somewhere we live inside
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside

Dreaming about Providence
And whether mice or men have second tries
Maybe we've been livin with our eyes half open
Maybe we're bent and broken, broken

We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside
Somewhere we live inside
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
Somewhere we live inside

We want more than this world's got to offer
We want more than this world's got to offer
We want more than the wars of our fathers
And everything inside screams for second life

We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live for so much more
Have we lost ourselves?
We were meant to live
We were meant to live

Busted flat in baton rouge, waiting for a train
And i’s feeling nearly as faded as my jeans.
Bobby thumbed a diesel down just before it rained,
It rode us all the way to new orleans.

I pulled my harpoon out of my dirty red bandanna,
I was playing soft while bobby sang the blues.
Windshield wipers slapping time, I was holding bobby’s hand in mine,
We sang every song that driver knew.

Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose,
Nothing don’t mean nothing honey if it ain’t free, now now.
And feeling good was easy, lord, when he sang the blues,
You know feeling good was good enough for me,
Good enough for me and my bobby mcgee.

From the kentucky coal mines to the california sun,
Hey, bobby shared the secrets of my soul.
Through all kinds of weather, through everything that we done,
Hey bobby baby kept me from the cold.

One day up near salinas, lord, I let him slip away,
He’s looking for that home and I hope he finds it,
But I’d trade all of my tomorrows for one single yesterday
To be holding bobby’s body next to mine.

Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose,
Nothing, that’s all that bobby left me, yeah,
But feeling good was easy, lord, when he sang the blues,
Hey, feeling good was good enough for me, hmm hmm,
Good enough for me and my bobby mcgee.

La la la, la la la la, la la la, la la la la
La la la la la bobby mcgee.
La la la la la, la la la la la
La la la la la, bobby mcgee, la.

La la la, la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la la la, hey now bobby now bobby mcgee yeah.
Na na na na na na na na, na na na na na na na na na na na
Hey now bobby now, bobby mcgee, yeah.

Lord, I’m calling my lover, calling my man,
I said I’m calling my lover just the best I can,
C’mon, where is bobby now, where is bobby mcgee, yeah,
Lordy lordy lordy lordy lordy lordy lordy lord
Hey, hey, hey, bobby mcgee, lord!

Yeah! whew!

Lordy lordy lordy lordy lordy lordy lordy lord
Hey, hey, hey, bobby mcgee.

Just today? It's been stuck there all week!! It's called, "The Lion of Judah." It's sort of a celtic ditty that my church plays in our contemp worship services every now and then. I love the song so much, it's like totlly commited to memory. ^ _ ^ :D *starts singing song again* :D Gee, thanks.... LOL!

Kree-yah!!!

P.S. Here are the lyircs if you're curious:

You're the Lion of Judah, the Lamb that was slain,
You ascended to heaven and ever more will reign;
At the end of the age when the earth You reclaim,
You will gather the nations before You.
And the eyes of all men will be fixed on the Lamb
Who was crucified,
For with wisdom and mercy and justice You'll reign
At Your Father's side.

And the angels will cry: 'Hail the Lamb
Who was slain for the world, Rule in power.'
And the earth will reply: 'You shall reign
As the King of all kings
And the Lord of all lords.'

There's a shield in our hand and a sword at our side,
There's a fire in our spirits that cannot be denied;
As the Father has told us for these You have died,
For the nations that gather before You.
And the ears of all men need to hear of the Lamb
Who was crucified,
Who descended to hell yet was raised up to reign
At the Father's side.

And the angels will cry: 'Hail the Lamb!
Who was slain for the world, Rule in power.'
And the earth will reply: 'You shall reign
As the King of all kings
And the Lord of all lords.'

(( insert celtic interlude complete w/ piccolo, piano, and a violin here ))

There's a shield in our hand and a sword at our side,
There's a fire in our spirits that cannot be denied;

And the angels will cry: 'Hail the Lamb!
Who was slain for the world, Rule in power.'
And the earth will reply: 'You shall reign
As the King of all kings
And the Lord of all lords.'

Gentle On My Mind
Glen Campbell

It's knowin' that your door is always open
And your path is free to walk
That makes me tend to leave my sleepin' bag
Rolled up and stashed behind your couch
And it's knowin' I'm not shackled
By forgotten words and bonds
And the ink stains that have dried upon some line
That keeps you in the back roads
By the rivers of my memory
That keeps you ever gentle on my mind

It's not clingin' to the rocks and ivy
Planted on their columns now that bind me
Or something that somebody said because
They thought we fit together walkin'
It's just knowing that the world
Will not be cursing or forgiving
When I walk along some railroad track and find
That you're movin' on the back roads
By the rivers of my memory
And for hours you're just gentle on my mind

Though the wheat fields and the clothes lines
And the junkyards and the highways come between us
And some other woman's cryin' to her mother
'cause she turned and I was gone
I still might run in silence
Tears of joy might stain my face
And the summer sun might burn me till I'm blind
But not to where I cannot see
You walkin' on the back roads
By the rivers flowin' gentle on my mind

I dip my cup of soup back from a gurglin' cracklin' cauldron
In some train yard
My beard a rustlin' coal pile
And a dirty hat pulled low across my face
Through cupped hands 'round a tin can
I pretend to hold you to my breast and find
That you're waitin' from the back roads
By the rivers of my memory
Ever smilin', ever gentle on my mind

SING w/ ME!!

Seperated, I cut myself clean, from a past
the comes back in my darkest of dreams.
Been apprehended by a spirtiatual force,
and the Grace that replaced all the me I divorced!

I saw a man w/ a tat on his big, fat belly!
It wriggled around like marmalade jelly.
It took me awhile to catch what it said,
'cuz I had to match the rhythm of his belly w/ my head!
"Jesus Saves!" Is what it raved,
in a typical tatoo green.
And stood on a box in the middle of the city
and he said he had a dream!

Last night I had the strangest dream...
I sailed away to China,
On a little rowboat to find ya,
But you said you had to get your laundry clean...
Didn't want no-one to hold you, what does that mean?

And you said,
'Ain't nothin' gonna break my stride,
Nobody's gonna slow me down,
Oh no! I've got to keep on moving...'

Best. Lyrics. Ever. :)
