You're welcome and yes she is. I like both versions, Whitney's and Dolly's, they each bring something great in their own way. I think the fun of covers is seeing the unique style or different energy people can bring to a song.

Some covers change up the arrangement a lot. I don't know if they created the music from scratch, but I think it could still be called a cover since it's the lyrics from the Psalm. On the other side of the spectrum, there are covers that keep the music and change the lyrics. Like this girl, Asia, who made Lonely into a Christian song.

I have sometimes wondered how some singers become well known

but have never written even one song.

Though there are some originals that become legends, sort of.

When you hear one of their songs you directly know who was the original.

There is a grand old man, Evert Taube, he wrote and sang ballards, wonderful songs filled with fantasy.

His son, Sven Bertil sang his fathers songs, and someone asked him who made the best recordings of his fathers songs, he answered, "Pappa".
