I have ben going to this youth group for about 2 years now , i have allways liked this girl there from the start but she is abit shy so its hard to talk to her too long and i am kinda a intervort cant find soming to say i am 18 shes 17 anytime we say soming she allways seems to look at me right in the eyes and i look at her too she smiles abit , the youth went to a concert we were in a big line up to get in the church doors it was pretty crowded so we were standing pretty close to each other she said (this is the closest we have ever ben before) then laphed and smiled at me and then she held on my shirt till we got in the doorway so we would not loose each other i think. do you think she likes me or what should i say to her or do to kinda show her i like her thanks for the help

the weard thing is she was talking to her girl friend in her ear when we were singing in youth and they were both standing next to me and her friend said (i Like You) but she allready has a boyfriend so do you think that was her way of telling me she liked me but telling her friend to say that because she was shy ?

I think that she definitely likes you. You can't lose something you never had, so I say go for it. I think you should pray that God will be with you and will give you the words to say to her. I know that if you take the chance, it may be worth it.

Coming from an introverted type guy, just ask her. From the sound of it she likes you, so if you like her and want to take her on a date or something, then just say "I was wondering if you'd want to go out on a date sometime". If shes shy to (or waiting for you to make the move) you've been given quiet a few hints to ask already.

SO heres your options:
1. Take a what you may consider to be a risk and ask her out

or
2. Worry yourself to death about if she likes you, what to do, and how to interpret thing.

At least with option 1 there is closer and you can move on to something new if it doesn't go the way you think it will. And if it DOES go the way you hope it will, then you'll be a lot more happy than flirting endlessly without ever having a type of connection that you obviosuly want.

Nothing says braveness like starting a statement that you HAVE to end.

"Hey {insert girls name} i was wondering if you'd like to............uh......go out with me sometime."

Give it a shot. OR as any football coach would say "Suck it up and throw the bomb"

Yeah, it's kind of impossible to tell if a shy person likes you from their actions. Generally I'd say if she's uncomfortable it was a sign, but shy people always seem uncomfortable to me! I'm not much for playin' games, but if you're too scared to talk to her, you might have a chat with her friend, just to get your courage up. If she likes you, her friend knows.

How does her friend saying "I like you" mean that she likes you? Maybe her friend is the one that likes you? Anyway, I think you should ask her straight up if she has a man. If the answer is negatory proceed to ask her out. Leave friends out of this (for now). This ain't Highschool! (Actually, considering the ages it might be for you both...which would explain some stuff).

Best way to find out : ask her. Seriously. Tell her how you feel and ask if she could see the possibility of you two together. Girls appreciate that initiative. a lot.

Maybe he misunderstood what she had said. Thought that she had a boyfriend.
