Let's talk about what makes us happy for a change!

List one thing or list several!

Here's a few for me...

-smiling children :D
-my animals
-being around the clergy and congregation at my parish because they're the greatest! :groupray:
-waking up in the morning to see the sun is shining!
-The sound of the first lawnmower in the spring & the smell of fresh cut grass!
-thinking about how much Jesus so perfectly loves each of us! :amen:

  • Others' laughter
  • Missing teeth in a child because you know they're so darn proud about it
  • Getting that smile out of an upset little boy or girl
  • Silliness
  • My goofy dog who has eternal happiness
  • A parrot trying to say a word or phrase they can't actually articulate
  • Generosity when the giver sincerely expects nothing in return and genuinely takes joy from their deeds (and you can see it in their eyes)
  • Coming across a Bible verse that offers comfort so appropriate in timing
  • Little reminders that God's listening and working in our lives
  • When someone is so joyfully into the worship music/hymns they sing far louder than anyone else

What give me a Big Smile??

The love that is given unto me by the young ones from Church. Their innocence, and honest love.

To see the youth from Church have the desire to come to Church and Worship of their on free will.

To see or hear of someone coming to Christ.

Good ole sillyness (without this I would not be able to function).

puppies (bloodhounds ;) )

Seeing a young child get excited over something.

seeing the flowers that I planted start to grow and bloom :)

A real southern lady with a good ole thick southern draw (this makes my liver quiver).

Veggietales!!!! haha

The Saterday morning shows on AFR (American Family Radio)

Have I said that Kids bring a smile to my face yet?? ;)

there are many many more....

There are a few leaders at my church who are just amazing. The love of the Lord just saturates them. I could be in the most rotten mood and they'll put a hand out, wrap an arm around and I can't help but to get a silly smile on my face. If they can do that, imagine what Jesus must have been like. It's amazing.
