What PS2 games are you playing?

I haven't really been playing console games for a long time but a year or so ago I got a PS2 and have been enjoying the games I've been playing. There are so many gems.

I recently got Ratchet and Clank 2, it has some really cool platforming and a really fun story, def my favorite R&C.

So what are you playing?

DoDonPachi Dai-Oujou (One of my friends loves this to death.)
Raiden III (It's good but I don't think it is that special, nice graphics tho.)
The Shikigami series (I had all 3, I think 2 was the best, great atmosphere.)

I thought Rolling Thunder 3 for the Megadrive was pretty good.

Absolutely, although I don't have many PS2 shooters. Most of them are Genesis/Mega Drive, Turbografx/PC Engine, SNES/SFX and Saturn.

Does it have Metal Slug 6 cause then I def want to get a hold of it.

It sure does. 1, 2, X, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are all there.

Still looking for this one....

PS2 NiGHTS? You'll have to import it from Japan.

It's okay. At least it's cheap! The Mega CD Silpheed is more fun.

I think all Cave shooters are good, but Esp. is a bit expensive. Raiden III is also expensive, but I heard the US version is cheaper. The Shikigami games are fun, I've played them in arcades before. I just haven't bothered to pick them up yet. I've got DonPachi and DoDonPachi on the Saturn and I also love them to death. The PS2 game is really expensive, though.

Singstar games, Kareoke Revolution, Final Fantasy X-2 and a few others I can't recall the names. It's been a while since I've used my PS2 for games other than kareoke games.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2

Haven't see them around but will keep looking I enjoyed Warriors Orochi 2 quite a bit so I'm sure the Gundam games will be pretty good.

Singstar games, Kareoke Revolution

I haven't really had much experience with these games but I found Buzz a lot of fun with friends. suppose it does make a change to Trival Pursuit etc.

Mobile Light Force is Gunbird, not Shikigami.

Well I think I'm half right because for PS2 for some reason it's called "Mobile Light Force 2" I looked it up on gamefaqs, If your don't like bad translations (bad but funny) you might want to stay away but the gameplay is still good.

Really? I didn't realize they did that with one of the Shikigami games. That is really messed up. That's about as bad as taking three completely unrelated anime shows and trying to convince people that it's all one series called "Robotech." Really confusing!

Hey Breetai I got a hold of the Red Star it's a shmup/beat em up hybrid with co op, I haven't finished it yet but so far it's been pretty good, I would give it at least 8/10. It starts of easy but gets pretty challenging later on. I think it is def one of my favorite shmups.
