I am not saying that at all. We are to listen to the HOLY Spirit of God. Not lawlessness as you suggest. We are to be holy and sanctified before God and that is indeed the narrow way.You are saying we need not be obedient to God in order to be saved?
The narrow gate is to be holy and sanctifed before God and to take our priesthood serious. 1Peter2:9 "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."the narrow gate
Why do you have to have a percentage and a number? I cannot tell who is ultimately saved and who is not. That motivates me to witness or testify to everyone after building a relationship with them. Not having should increase our eagerness to share Jesus with everyone. If they're saved, it will build their faith. If they're not, we scatter a seed that we pray will grow and bear fruit. From Adam and Eve until the day Christ returns what percentage of people are actually saved? I know Jesus says in Matthew 7:13-14 that few people find salvation but just how few are they? Christianity has been the number one religion in the world for a long time now. True many "Christians" just write that they're Christian on a piece of paper and don't truly follow Christ. But just how much of the world exactly chose to follow God? 5%? 10%? Also many people in the world believe in Jesus and have accepted his free gift of salvation. So who among those are saved? All of them? If all of them are saved than why did Jesus make multiple statements of "very few will be saved." it just doesn't make sense.
What is Gematria? Every Hebrew letter has a numerical value. Science tells us that there is extreme precision in the universe. The Universe is universal, not random. We have ratio and balance to everything. Even there is balance between Mars and Venus and all the other planets in the universe. Even there is balance between the Earth and the Moon, that keeps them in their dance together. Why do you have to have a percentage and a number?
Percent, hmmm .... didn't God want all 100 of the sheep tho? From Adam and Eve until the day Christ returns what percentage of people are actually saved? The Father wishes that all be saved. If His numbers are between 1-3%, the death of His Son really did not make an impact on humanity. I believe the numbers are way, way higher. Jesus spoke often in hyperbole to make a point. From Adam and Eve until the day Christ returns what percentage of people are actually saved? so Christ died for 7 or 8 people? There are more disciples than this and we're still forgetting Noah, Moses, Elijah, Samuel, David, etc..., surely they made it.... this only exposes a merit-based system. grace is more powerful than the sins of 7 or 8 people. One of the leaders of the congregation that Bishop Joseph Garlington (from Promise Keepers) grew up in said that only about 7 or 8 people from all of time and eternity would make it to heaven.

Salvation is not work based though.
I totally agree. And so does Bishop Garlington. But that was what he was taught as a kid.so Christ died for 7 or 8 people?... this only exposes a merit-based system. grace is more powerful than the sins of 7 or 8 people.
My church taught that Moses, Elijah et al could not possibly be saved since they did not know to call on the name of Jesus. (no other name)There are more disciples than this and we're still forgetting Noah, Moses, Elijah, Samuel, David, etc..., surely they made it.
If you have a child, does that little boy or girl cease to be your child if they are disobedient? You are saying we need not be obedient to God in order to be saved?
