Sorry my answers are not what you were looking for. I gave the answer that The Spirit of the Living God impressed upon me.

You gave me one verse for two questions. I figured my questions may not have been specific enough which is why I elaborated on them. So again, do you believe that you have an immortal soul, and that hell is eternal? Also, does scripture point to a time when God declared the sabbath to no longer be His holy day?

I think that if you're going to come in to the Adventist forum and ask about our beliefs that you should be willing to answer questions about your own. If you asked me a question and I simply gave you scirpture without an explanation, I doubt you'd be willing to accept that.

Perpetual doesnt necesssarily mean its everlasting, or that it cannot have an ending... all things are possible for God, even that...

Hosea 2 would be a good starting point...

I'm guessing you had this scripture in mind?

11I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.

Would you be able to say when exactly this happened?

I gave you the same scripture because that is where my answer comes from . Again:

Matthew 10:28

28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

An understanding of the nature of the soul:
Hebrews 6:18-20

18That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: 19Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

1 Peter 1: 18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. 22Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren,

John 6:29

29Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Romans 10:9

9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

I believe His Word John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

These then are things that can destroy the soul in a place called hell. (I believe it)
Hebrews 3:12

12Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

Colossians 2:8

8Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Martinman:

You stated: I would like to ask if you have read this statement before? What truths have been unseen since the day of Pentecost?

“Great truths that have lain unheeded and unseen since the day of Pentecost, are to shine from Elohim's word in their native purity. To those who truly love Elohim the Holy Spirit will reveal truths that have faded from the mind, and will also reveal truths that are entirely new. Those who eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of Elohim will bring from the books of Daniel and Revelation truth that is inspired by the Holy Spirit. They will start into action forces that cannot be repressed. The lips of children will be opened to proclaim the mysteries that have been hidden from the minds of men.” Fundamentals of Christian Education 473

That simple the truth about Yahweh's law and Moses law. The Sabbath of Yahweh and the Feast Days and that there were no such days call ceremonial sabbath. Even the Catholic Church speak the truth about the Sabbath and the Feast Days.

EGW was correct because most do not understand Daniel and Revelation when you do there will be a revial in the world! Hum mysteries in Dan chapter 12 and Rev 13 and chapter 17.

The true Interpreter, the Messiah, began at Moses (Luke 24) when He explained the truth of His resurrection and the significance of the ritual services together with His interpretation of the “shadow”Sabbaths.

Wrong there is nothing written in the Bible called shadow Sabbath. It state that these things mention in Coloss. 2:16 were a shadow (which means protection in Hebrew and English language, the Greek had no meaning for the word.) of things to come but the body is of Yashua. verse 17

And it is the light that emanates from the Sabbath that causes these prophecies of Daniel and Revelation to burst forth with new life under the power of the Holy Spirit. There is much more light on the Sabbath that all will need to know in order to recognize the latter rain message. There is an entire system of truth and prophecy that is opened by a deeper understanding of the 7th day Sabbath and the “shadows” that it casts in the sanctuary services.

The Sabbath never cast a shadow in the Sanctuary services show this in the Bible????

I am not advocating returning to the observances of the ritual services which were a part of the old covenant and ended at the cross. But these ritual services are tremendously significant and profoundly prophetic, “typical of mysteries in the plan of redemption” (Signs of the Times, July 29, 1886) that God wants to reveal to our understanding.

Now you are correct because they pointed symbolically what we literally are to do with our bodies as "living sacrifces." Yashua is the true High Priest that could take away sin and not animals nor their blood!

These mysteries will compose the latter rain message. Some will have to learn in a few months that which others took years in learning. But this knowledge is essential before the servants of God can be sealed and before they could ever “proclaim the Sabbath more fully.”

I totally agree with this statement because you will not understand the Sabbath until you fully understand the Feast of Yahweh!

Blessings,
stinsonmarri

So I'm going to say that you don't believe in the immortality of the soul than, or that hell will last for all eternity? Is that correct?

Also none of the verses you provided said anything about the sabbath no longer being God's holy day.

Stinsonmarri,

I hope you are able to get a literal translation of the Bible, like the King James' Version, as most of the other versions are corrupted and adulterated.

In the King James' Version in Leviticus 23, you will find that there are 12 annual days dispersed among the feasts days that are specifically called, “Sabbaths”. All of the Hebrew months begin with the new moon, and are calculated by the moon, therefore, these Sabbaths occur on other days of the week than the 7th day Sabbath, in most years.

When the new moon of the first month or the new moon of the seventh month, happens to fall on a 7th day Sabbath, than all of the annual days mentioned as Sabbaths that are calculated from that new moon, also, occur on 7th day Sabbaths, including the Day of Atonement, which was on the 10th day of the 7th month. If you have any questions about this, I'll be glad to share the reasons from the Bible evidence why the Day of Atonement can only be on the 10th day in order to have a 7th day Sabbath fulfillment.

In Leviticus 23:38, 39, Moses clearly differentiates between the two types of Sabbaths.

“Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD. Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day [shall be] a sabbath, and on the eighth day [shall be] a sabbath.”

In this Scripture Moses refers to the Sabbaths of the Lord, but in addition to them, the Hebrew people are instructed to keep a Sabbath on the 15th day and on the 22nd day. As I mentioned, in most years this 15th day and this 22nd day would not occur on the 7th day Sabbath.

In Colossians 2:16, 17, Paul lists the meat offerings and drink offerings, the holy days, the new moon or the Sabbath; then he adds the detail, saying, “which are a shadow of things to come.” One could say that these things are a prophecy of things to come—Sabbaths which are a “shadow”, or “shadow” Sabbaths.

Before I go further, I would like to know if you are following what I'm saying

  1. 1. Unlike the spring feasts, which were observed unvaried every year, the fall feast days, 22 literal days, had extra special ceremoniesthat where performed only in theSabbatical and Jubilee years, clearly, indicating that their main fulfillment would be in these two special years.

Some of the fall feast days had extra special ceremonies in the Sabbatical year only (the year of release). The law of God was read to all, men, women, children, and the stranger during the days of the Feast of Tabernacles (Deuteronomy 31:10-16). This practice was reserved just for the Sabbatical year (the year of release).

Deuteronomy 31:10-13 KJV “And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of [every] seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles, When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing. Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that [is] within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law: And [that] their children, which have not known [any thing], may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.)”

  1. 2. The Day of Atonement also, had extra special significance in the Sabbatical year (year of release), when certain classes of Hebrew slaves were set free (Deuteronomy 15:1, 12). This evidence shows that a fulfillment of the Day of Atonement can be expected to take place in a Sabbath year. No doubt, this is the Sabbatical year that precedes the year of Jubilee.

There are 4 “shadowy” Sabbaths in the fall feasts that must all fall on seventh-day Sabbaths in their fulfillment, and this always occurs in two consecutive years, Remember the year before the Jubilee year is always a Sabbatical year.

  1. 3. There is onlyone feast day that had extra special significance, in both, the Sabbatical year and in the year of Jubilee, and that fall feast day is the Day of Atonement. In the Sabbatical year a certain class of Hebrew slaves were set free (Deuteronomy 15:1, 12. PP 532).

The Day of Atonement has special significance in its fulfillment in the Sabbatical year, but its prime fulfillment was reserved for the commencement of the Jubilee. Leviticus. 25:8-10

“Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth [day] of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout [all] the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you;” Leviticus 25:9,10

“And [this] shall be a statute for ever unto you: [that] in the seventh month, on the tenth [day] of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, [whether it be] one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
For on that day shall [the priest] make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, [that] ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD. It [shall be] a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.” Leviticus 16:29-31

  1. 4. All other slaves waited for the Jubilee trumpet to sound on the Day of Atonement of the Jubilee year (Leviticus. 25:9,10, PP 534). The Jubilee trumpet was blown only on that special Holy day, when all slaves where set free from slavery.

Jesus designed the Day of Atonement to occur on the tenth day of the seventh month, because only then, are all four of the “shadowy Sabbaths within the fall feast days, positioned to come on seventh-day Sabbaths in these two consecutive years, the very years when they have their extra special significance. Isn't that amazing!

What a holy loving mastermind is our Lord and Savior, that He would design and implement such a precise and intricate plan for the salvation of man, and that He would then share all the details of this glorious plan with His created beings, giving them insight into the mysteries of the deep things of God. No that is not what I am saying.

I believe as the Bible says: fear not them which kill the body, But are not able to kill the soul (for me that would indicate that the soul has immortality). Now I believe just as the Bible says: but fear him which is able to destroy both body and soul in hell (for me that indicates that there certainly is a hell and other verses say to me it is eternal).
