Hello,

Being on this forum has been a very gratifying and joyful experience for me. Sure, there were times when the threads may have become unpleasant and others who may have personally attacked me. However, overall, I can honestly say that I am truly grateful for all the strong, loving Christians on the forum who have a heart for God and heart full of LOVE.

Even through a couple of hurtful experiences where I was harshly criticized on some posts several months ago, I still learned a lesson from those negative experiences. I learned that a truly spiritually mature Christian does not feel the need to force his/her opinions on others. The reason why is because the mature Christian realizes that only God has the authority to judge others. A mature Christian also realizes that bad decisions lead to bad consequences so the best action is to pray and have compassion for those who are lost or going through the trials of spiritual growth. It's knowing that we have once walked their paths and therefore have the wisdom to tolerate their righteous attitudes because it's only matter of time before God humbles them.

Thank God we have an almighty God who never gives up on us even when we stray from His path. No matter where we are in our walk, God is right beside us helping us to grow. Therefore, when we realize the depths of God's love, we can live a joyful and free life by just simply loving others. :groupray:

I am have learned it's okay to be me. I am not going to be judged for something I do that might not measure up to what God would expect of me. Instead, I find that I am finding that there is true fellowship here. People are willing to lift you up instead of shove you down.

I haven't been here long enought to say much about this forum, but I have found everyone to be very nice and caring.

I have been on Christian Boards for a long time. I use to be an admin on a very large board. I now admin at http://snipershark.net/church/index.php plus I mod at another Christian site.

Ove the years I have seen the best and the worse at Christian sites. The best being the fact that God used a Christian site as the place I met my wonderful husband, what a blessed gift that was. I have also met so many great friends around the world. I have even been blessed enough to meet several in person, this past summer a friend and her husband from New Zeland visited with us, what a treat that was.

Christian boards are a great tool for linking the body in such an awesome way.

There are so many people who are hurting lonely, some are home bound due to illness, etc... but here we are all linked by a common bond, the love of Christ.

Year ago I use to wonder why I spend so much time sitting at a computer when I really could have been doing something else, but the every first time I lead someone in chat to Jesus I knew why. And I have watched her grow and blossum in the Lord for a few years now. To me that's the coolest thing ever!

What seeing the worst on Christian sites has taught me, is to NEVER FORGET there is a real live person sitting behind every keyboard. They laugh, love, hurt and cry just like me.

Where to begin? That we can learn about and grow closer to God through many different people, of all ages and denominations.

That our God is a great and glorious God who continually shows us His love through the love others show each other.

I've learned not to expect people who say that they're Christians to behave as if they really were.
So true! You're right. The real test is to see if they are living a life that truly exemplifies and glorifies Christ. As the old saying goes, "Actions speak much louder than words."

Amen! It is so wonderful to feel the love of Christ of love through others. The fellowship here is better than all the different churches I have ever attended.

That many people struggle and seek the "easy" way out of problems, and that compared to other people, I really don't have many problems these days. :crossrc:
