Hello,
Being on this forum has been a very gratifying and joyful experience for me. Sure, there were times when the threads may have become unpleasant and others who may have personally attacked me. However, overall, I can honestly say that I am truly grateful for all the strong, loving Christians on the forum who have a heart for God and heart full of LOVE.
Even through a couple of hurtful experiences where I was harshly criticized on some posts several months ago, I still learned a lesson from those negative experiences. I learned that a truly spiritually mature Christian does not feel the need to force his/her opinions on others. The reason why is because the mature Christian realizes that only God has the authority to judge others. A mature Christian also realizes that bad decisions lead to bad consequences so the best action is to pray and have compassion for those who are lost or going through the trials of spiritual growth. It's knowing that we have once walked their paths and therefore have the wisdom to tolerate their righteous attitudes because it's only matter of time before God humbles them.
Thank God we have an almighty God who never gives up on us even when we stray from His path. No matter where we are in our walk, God is right beside us helping us to grow. Therefore, when we realize the depths of God's love, we can live a joyful and free life by just simply loving others.
