I understand your question now. All born again spirit filled Christian's can see into the spirit realm. We are reborn spirits after we accept Jesus into our hearts. Our reborn spirit dwells in heaven and in our bodies at the same time. This is the link between heaven and earth, we also know this door as the entrance to heavenly realms. Jesus tells us that the kingdom of heaven dwells within our bodies, this is why we believe so. To knock at the door means that you recognize Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and you can say with your mouth: JESUS IS LORD. Now the interesting part: There is a spiritual realm, an unseen realm. This realm is spoken about by Paul in his book to the Ephesians. We find this passage in chapter six, I will take you to the verse twelve. The numbers are how to remember where these our powerful weapons are located. Six a number of man ( on the sixth day God created man) and twelve double six. Paul tells us of this place, called the heavenly realms. Here the spirits (angels) good and evil (devils) do battle. Paul tells us to come boldly before the throne of God, yet we must pass through this realm. There are many scriptures to study and understand about this spiritual place, more real than this natural place.

Warning, The following is meat of the word, and may be hard to understand.
I see very few open visions of these entities because: Those who have authority in the spirit, are well known and send the devils running. Devils are cowards, they attack, children, hurting family members, those we preach salvation to. The first thing I teach is that if you want to fight against the forces of evil this pleases Jesus, who will pick up the sword with you and teach you how to wield it, it is your most cherished weapon( your tongue). Read the sixth chapter of Ephesians, meditate on each sentence. This is where our authority lives. Before going into any battle ( earthly encounters ) prepare.
Standing means that we sometime can't move forward, but we never retreat. Always remember you are standing in the armor of Jesus, maybe scared, shaking and unsure. The Lord knows how much you can endure and he will quickly pull you out if that is required. Not all Christians are warriors. Narrow is the road that leads to the door of salvation and we will defend that road all all cost.
