can you explain what jazzercise is please?
Jazzercise is aerobics with a bit of pizzaz added like moving your hips around and shaking your shoulders. It's fun and it's a good work out. There is body toning and sculpting too.

I have a schedule:
Monday - cardio (elliptical machine for 30 mins)
Tuesday - weight lifting class
Wednesday - yoga/pilates class
Thursday - swimming class
Friday - cardio (elliptical machine for 30 mins)

If I miss a day I don't stress it, I just go as often as I can during the week.

sorry ive not replied before karen... somehow this thread slipped thro the net...

jazzercise looks fun... its prob on a similar keel to body jam... but body jam is a bit more about short routines and less 'traditional' aerobic moves...

its a right laugh...

have you ever thought about learning to swim karen...

i love swimming and it is one the best exercises you can do cos you body is always supported while you are doing it!

my work out schedule seems to have fallen into

monday - gym
tues - jam
wed - aqua
thurs - jam
fri - swim then aqua

tho from next month fridays is going to be jam, swim, aqua cos amanda is starting a new jam class which is just before aqua... cant remember what time it starts now... but it either gives me 15 minutes to change and get into the pool or 45 minutes... which would be great cos then i could swim off the jam session...

Hey Purple!!! Great to see you!!
I would love to know how to swim!!! I wish my knees weren't so fat, then I would put on a swim suit and learn!!! I would be at the new pool at the park district learning and doing water aerobics!!!

Keep up the good work.......you're doing great!!!!

My routine's always changing, but as of late it has been (in this order):

50 push ups
50 leg raises
50 crunches
1 exercise I don't know the name of which exercises the shoulders, neck, and forearms (to a count of 100)
50 leg raises (again)
50 crunches (again)

Like I said, it'll change again here soon (especially when I find some good lower abs exercises).

Jazzercise sounds kind of fun! I have been pulling a few workouts from Better.tv lately too...they are a lot of things you can do easily at home on a rainy day like today. Has anyone been to that site before? They actually have a lot of really great videos with ideas for recipes, decorating, and other stuff like that.
