I love all of the FF games I've played to some extent. 7 is my least favorite, believe it or not. *gasp*
1. FF VI - my first FF game, as well as my favorite, closely rivaled by #2 on my list. I agree with the comment stating it has some of the best music ever written. FFVI has the best works of Uematsu in all of his work on the series. It's just beautiful. Amano also has great artwork for this game as well.
2. FF X - The story really captivated me. The end made me cry more than events that took place in VII.
3. FF VIII - I felt I could really relate to the characters, and I fully enjoyed the places to explore and the story.
4. FFIX - I loved the character design and story, it had lots of interesting twists and turns in the plot.
5. FFX-2 - It was a really fun game, and I enjoyed seeing my favorite characters again. It brought closure to the original's ending, as well as making me appreciate the original more. It has great replay value as well.
6. FFIV - I haven't played this one in about 8 years, but I still loved it. =3 It's really hard for me to remember everything. I suppose I should buy it for PS.
7. FFVII - I don't see what the whole craze with this game is. I enjoyed it, the story and characters as well, but I felt it was lacking in certian areas. I just didn't get that well-rounded sense of fufillment that I got from the other games. It's not the best RPG EVAR in my opinion. I guess I'm missing something? I'd definately play it again though.

I liked FFX, and most people say FF7 is good but I haven't tried that yet.

I'm currently playing FFX. It's the first FF that I've ever played, and I love it! Although, there are some parts that are hard, or take a long time to beat. But, a good challenge is favorable once in a while.

I liked FFX and FFX-2 i havent acually played all the Final Fantasy games but ive played a few. And those two are my fave.
