CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think I posted a while ago, but I think my tastes have changed. I stopped drinking soft drinks so now my favorite is sweet tea.
I almost had my first alcoholic drink the other night. I was at Surin, in good company, didn't drive, and had a big meal. The main thing that stopped me was that the bartender said the last time he made it that it didn't turn out too well.
Greatful Dead: Long island iced tea with chambord (raspberry liqueur).

I decided a while back that it was gonna be my first drink ever. I had also decided I would wait until DADT was repealed, but I got caught up the in moment that night. Maybe the bartender not knowing how to make it right was a sign to wait?
I will never drink beer. It will always be a mixed drink. The fruitier, the better
