What is your favorite ancient civilization?

I'm very fascinated with the CLASSICAL or Hellenistic Greeks. Especially the various Hellenistic empires - the Ptolemaic Egyptians - the Selucid Persians - ultimately Rome - Maccabean Israel . . . .and how Alexander pretty much single handedly changed the course of history.

Ah yes! Alexander the Great sure was an awesome guy!

Ancient Greece is my favorite. I love their architecture and art. The are also the birth place 0f democracy!

My favorite ancient civilization are the Germanic Tribes because the Germanic Tribes are the closest civilization (Socially, ethnically, culturally, sometimes religiously, and etc.) to the Vikings and Medieval European Civilizations. Love them!
