What is up with this forum

I'd just like to know why all the silly threads, such as and all the ones that are all to do wth Christianity. The last time I looked this was the non-christian religion forum. There's no space to talk about non-christian religions on this forum, apart from Islam, where Christianity vs Islam has been dragged through the bushes and back hundreds of times.

Please people, have some sense and post about things that actually have a real discussable point.

Yeah, I agree. This forum lacks variety of discussion. This really should be called the Islam-Christian debate forum. That's mainly all that is rehashed over and over. Without anyone changing their mind of course.

What do you expect? Occasionally some people ask questions for knowledge of other peoples views on life. They are in the minority though.

Well whenever i posted about the Talmud which people need to know about it was deleted and branded Anti semitic, may be this attitude should change and we can have divers discussions even to do with divers issues and that one does not get called Anti something as soon as he posts about it. When people post anti Islamic lies and slander they don't get deleted and called anti or anything

It does get a little old when the same themes are rehashed ad nasuem day after day I mean after awhile you'd think it would get kinda old ya know for everybody...i mean evvverryy bodyyyy...also the constant conflict can't be very good for people spiritually.

"Anti-semetic" is a very broad word, though anti-jewish, anti-Islam or anti-christians etc is more specific. Peace.

The problem also lies with the fact that many people discuss yet they have no knowledge of the issue, they want to discuss and particularly about islam they go to anti islamic sites and download rubbish and want to discuss about it. The other problem is that many issues are raised over and over again.Even though this has been answered time and time again.It gets a bit irritating to keep answering the same issue to different people every time. And others just open little threads about irrelevant stuff and expect them to be answered

You give the defifniton of semite there but in number 2 you put a Jew.An arab is a semite too and he too is a decendent of Shem son of Noah.What i don't l;ike is that Jewish issues are Quickly swept away as anti Semite yet Anti Arab and anti muslim isn't yet Arabs are semites too.So when someone brands me an anti semite I cannot be anti semite impossible.I am not anti my own.
i think people should loosen up a bit on this anti semitic issue or if they want to make issue about Being anti semitic then add anything anti Arab anti islamic in there too.In for a penny in for a pound.Whatever is good for the goose is good for the gander.

I think you should re post it, because;
A)It will be a fresh discussion
B)If we don't talk about these things then it allows ignorance itself to grow.
C)It's to early to think of any other reasons.

Well what topic shall we discuss in relation to how various religions perceive it.

Maybe the role of a Father.
What does Hinduism/Islam etc teach about being a good dad?
What should their roles be in a Western world?
Do their roles differ in non-Western countries?
What is the ideal father anyway?
