well let me put it like this then notachristian, Jesus loves you whethger you love Him or not, and He is waiting patiently for you to come to Him. If you did he will rejoice because He has a new friend and because you will be able to stay with Him forever.

When reading the last scripture it clearly shows that there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one person seeking to grow closer to God, and seeking his forgivness, than there is for those who are already close to Him.

Well I don't think I can be a christain because there is to much that I would have to do, and everytime I do something bad or w/e everyone will allways be like omgosh what the hypocrite, and I have tried to become a christain before and it never works out for me

Why do you think that there is too much that you have to do. The only thing you HAVE to do is love Jesus and accept what He did for you. Everything else comes out of that love (the desire to be like Him and obey His laws).

If you want to be a Christian then in my opinion you are half way there.

Don't worry about what everyone else thinks. People are going to think bad things about you whether or not you are a Christian. But if you're a Christian, at least you get access to God.

mhh naw well church has become more like my family....& reading the bible is like getting to know God......like reading the letters of your 'best friend' ..phew I know I'm sometimes judging people (not really because of that though)....well 'even' Christians aren't perfect you know

oh my translation of that passage goes like this (its a German one actually..)
Jesus was again using a parable (picture) to explain it [he was talking to uhh some people like thieves & stuff which was pretty offensive to the 'pharisees'.. very 'religious' people]
to them :
If you have a hundred sheep and one of them runs away, won't you leave the 99 other ones ..um yeah something like in the wilderness,
to look for the lost one till you find it ?
You happily carry it home on your shoulders and tell/ shout to your parents and neighbours: Come be happy with me/ rejoice with me, I've found my sheep !

In heaven ..ya know God & the angels
will be happy/ rejoice like this
because of one sinner who turns to God, more than becuase of 99 other ones who don't need to repent.

All you have to do is ask the Lord for forgivness. Then pray for understanding, and ask for the Holy Spirit to guide you. don't go by what others teach, allow the Lord to teach you himself.

Those who think you are any less than they are because you have made some mistake is like the Pharisee. As a matter of you stand a better chance at salvation than they do.

There's no need to worry about what others think, We only need to worry about what God thinks. And He Loves you no matter what, He wants you to draw closer to him.

wow !!!!! I'm struggling with pressure & stuff aswell I'm pretty confused about stuff but God's so what amazing he's totally been carrying me thru......don't give it up...just talk to God or anything..he'll help you out there
at the moment I'm trying to do stuff just out of love....yeh this is pretty much the point I'm having trouble understanding....too much to do...I'm
much of a perfectionist and used to push myself a lot ..but somewhere in the bible Jesus says my burden is light.

and wow I know God still loves me & you & he's totally understanding......
ask him to let get that thru & open your eyes about this....

Jesus said "my yoke is easy and my burden light" meaning that we can bring all our troubles to Him because He can deal with them better than we can.

It is impossible to be a Christian and not sin, so in one sense we are all hypocrites, but I know that my sin has been paid for, I can and will go to heaven because of my faith in Jesus Christ.

I am a Christian, and I do not feel that I am better than anyone else. I feel happy, and I feel whole. I feel God's presence most of the time (sometimes I do feel alone and far from him) God has blessed me with many gifts, he has blessed me with happiness, love, contentment, and many more things.

Please don't give up, God can bring great gifts!!

So, do you still hate us?

Hi...uh...im not that great with words or very good at debates and stuff but...I'll say this, God loves you and wants you! Yes, some christians think they are better. Iv'e had to live with a few of those types NOT fun......but not all of us are like that.

um... i have a lot of friends that are christians that dont go to church on a regular basis at all. im no closer to god then they are.

church = people, not a building. so if you clame to follow christ, you are a part of the church. its the whole body of christ thing. the "church building" is nothing with out the people.

we are the temple of god, not some building we make. our bodys are temples for him that we need to honor. so if you think about it, we are in church 24/7.
