The concept of God existing in eternity is a complex one. If eternity encompasses God, then it could be argued that eternity is also an aspect of God. As Christians, we hold the belief that God is the creator of space-time and all that it encompasses. We also believe that God is not confined by space-time. Furthermore, we refer to God as eternal, in accordance with scriptural references. However, the term 'eternity' used to describe God's existence in relation to time may be metaphorical and somewhat misleading, right?

When God spoke to Moses out of the burning bush, He described Himself as "I am". He said He simply is.

We think of eternity in terms of "time" as that is our experience, and so we imagine a very long time. To be honest I sometimes wonder if "time" actually exists. As far as I know there is no physical evidence for it in the same way as for the quantum particles for example, although even they can be described as standing waves if my limited understanding is correct.

If time doesn't exist, then we are also part of God's infinite plan in that we just "are", but only due to God's creative action.

There's one opinion on time not existing here -

Trying to pin God's eternity down is like to trying pin Him down personally - He occupies the entire universe and beyond; maintains the universe; watches, listens and monitors the thoughts of 8 billion people simultaneously, remmbers it all and plays it back to us when we front up to the judgement seat; watches over the more than 100 billion souls who have already died and are either in heave, hell or purgatory; judges 150,000 new fatalities every day (about 100 a minute); maintains an unbreakable barrier between heaven and hell; communicates with poeple (sometimes) and the spiritual beings; while all the while hiding Himself.

That's why I quote Isaiah at the bottom of my posts.

No, Yehovah recorded the scriptures and does not lie.

The first and second dimensions are equated to being lines.
The unique aspect about lines is that though they have both beginning and end (-) and (+);
they extend forever!

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Revelation 22:13

If the first and second dimension extend forever, it means that they are eternal.
Therefore, whatever universe that the first and second make up together;
is an eternal universe!

Physicists say that the 2d universe is like a piece of paper.
However, a motherboard is a better representation of the 2d universe.

An eternal 2d universe framework, constitutes eternal 2d characters like those stated in the Bible. (of 2d Spirit)
These characters remain in the eternal 2d framework.
Some are casted into the 3d universe.

The 3d universe is a product of the 2d frame (dark matter)

There are 2d to 3d conversions as well as 3d to 2d conversions.
meaning, the eternal can be made mortal,
the mortal can be made eternal.

Declaring "it's a mystery" in relation to questions about God is indeed speaking truthfully. As noted, stating "God is" conveys more than speculating about an abstract state or place like eternity.

1 Kings 8:27 NJB: "But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain You, how much less this temple which I have built!"

This passage implies omnipresence:

Isaiah 57:15 DRB: "For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: 'I dwell in the high and holy place, with him who has a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.'"

For God resides both in the high and holy place and with the contrite and humble spirit, suggesting He fills eternity itself. Naturally, our human language can only offer approximations when speaking of the incomprehensible nature of God.

Note: I am not confusing omnipresence with eternity, but since in human language both distance and duration are spoken of in terms of distance it seems that Isaiah 57:15 speaks to both of eternity and of transcendence in dwelling place. It is a mystery, God is not confined in time or eternity nor in location, and as 1 KIngs 8:27 heaven itself cannot contain God, heaven too is a creature of God's hand.
