I asking as individual purpose.
The purpose is to share in the blissful Triune life of God. God is uncreated and eternal, He simply IS, and it would therefore be pointless to ask "What is the purpose of the life of God." But He is absolute in all His positive qualities. So He wants to share with us His absolutely blissful life in the eternal world to come. In this life we must work on our salvation: to purify our heart from passions through prayer and asceticism, to seek God and the experiential, empirical knowledge of Him and persevere despite all the fear, despair and indifference.What is the purpose of this life?
