just trying to project their faults onto others. Why do continue to demean faith. Every time your refer to science as faith you demean the value of your own faith. I gave up trying to bring you up to date on basic science and now you display your misunderstanding of faith. But carry on.
Did it occur to you, Dan, that, prior to the Flood, the [fallen] angels were playing havoc with DNA?The first birds appear in the Jurassic.
And they did NOT replace all non-avian dinosaurs. But lived alongside them for several million years, until the K-T event.
For a hundred million years, birds were just another sub-set of dinosaurs.
Some were more bird-like than others. But they were, and still are, part of the theropod lineage.
I'm not ignoring it.You can ignore DNA but it won't go away.
I doubt it but they would be partially right when you consider Archosaurs as the common ancestor. But creationist don't accept the evidence for common ancestry or fossils because they are not compatible with a 6000 year old earth so of course you are going to disregard all the evidence. You are suggesting they are dinosaurs. Go to any dinosaur museum and they will tell you they are a version of reptile.
Why would it?Did it occur to you, Dan, that, prior to the Flood, the [fallen] angels were playing havoc with DNA?
Genesis 6:12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
And it could be that what we see under the sea is what existed in Frodo's time.It could be that what we see under the earth is what existed in Noah's time:
So reality then. Not your bizzare fantasy of "angels"Dinosaurs having feathers, birds having teeth, etc.
And some may have been hidden by dragons. Some of these things were probably whisked away when the waters were taken back off the earth, and are now elsewhere in the solar system (probably Neptune).
Wow.Others were buried in the ground as "Easter eggs," to be discovered later.
Only anybody who lives in the real world.Who knows?
Yes.
But a five-year-old should still be able to look a scientist in the eyes and tell him he's wrong.
My parents visited Durmheller in the late 1990s.You are suggesting they are dinosaurs. Go to any dinosaur museum and they will tell you they are a version of reptile.
Am I asking too much of you?Why would it?
5YO: Daddy, you just went through that STOP sign. And we should let 5 year olds decide everything.
Wow. You do understand that most adults understand the realities of stop signs... Yes?5YO: Daddy, you just went through that STOP sign.
Daddy: So?
5YO: That was wrong.
Daddy: Fine, then you drive.
Am I asking too much of you?
I'm not demeaning faith. I'm stating the obvious, you have to have faith in people's conclusions. You obviously can't do all the work yourself, so you are believing what someone says in a book or online. Why that book? Why that person's conclusions? Why do continue to demean faith. Every time your refer to science as faith you demean the value of your own faith. I gave up trying to bring you up to date on basic science and now you display your misunderstanding of faith. But carry on.
And we should let 5 year olds decide everything.
Congratulations.
Cake and candy for every meal.
Almost got it.Birds existed alongside dinosaurs. They didn't descend from them.
There for a minute, I thought you were talking about someone specific:A kindergarten kid, if he has learned basic
arithmetic could tell a math professor that his
chalkboard covered with calculations cannot
be math coz it's all funny squiggles, not numbers.
From a little child it's cute and funny.
The equivalent from an adult it would be pitiful as
the individual is clearly beyond reach.
Only on paper.Birds ARE dinosaurs.
Yes you are. Your feeble attempt to demean science by claiming it is faith tells us you do not place much value in faith.I'm not demeaning faith.
Wrong! When are you going to learn that scientific theories are testable? That is why they are provisional when there are competing theories like BAND vs birds are dinosaurs, BAND falls fatally short on evidence while there is a preponderance of evidence that birds are dinosaurs making it the accepted theory.I'm stating the obvious, you have to have faith in people's conclusions.
Correct! You obviously can't do all the work yourself
Wrong! While I can't do the scientific work myself I have enough of a science background to understand and weigh the evidence and to draw my own conclusions. I can also go to science sites like Peaceful Science to interact with experts to fill in for knowledge that I do not have.so you are believing what someone says in a book or online. Why that book? Why that person's conclusions?
