This is your opinion. Perhaps you are correct, however evolutionary theory and other related sciences account for our intelligence and personality quite adequately.

Again that is a personal view, made as an assertion with no supporting evidence. I'll offer you a similar assertion. As an agnostic, atheistic towards all major religions (and probably all minor ones), I find the development of the Universe from the Big Bang, the emergence of increasing complexity, in stellar and planetary systems, the appearance and subsequent evolution of life on Earth, and the evolution of creatures capable of investigating and progressively understanding these events, is astounding, remarkable and unsurpassingly* wonderful. Humans are the universe contemplating itself. Brilliant!

*Unsurpassed until we run into similar entities, or the next level of complexity emerges.

I treated your post and your views with respect. I told you I thought differently, but acknowledged your views might be correct. What is your response:

• You claim people are making up stories. That is a gross insult to tens of thousands of researchers, many of whom are Christians.
• You characterise, without any supporting evidence, evolution theory and implicitly those who developed it as "stupid".

So according to you, those scientists, Christians included, who developed evolutionary theory are stupid liars.

We are talking about our origins here and purpose too, people have found the truth and God can bless them and interact with them. And if someone is a christian that believes in evolution, you need to acknoweldge that our origin is in the end God and not just a process alone.

Because is so so good to have God, not only you get to be safe but you may find things that are better than anything the world has to offer. Speaking of fullfilment and satisfaction happiness etc God has it all covered. We can suffer just like the rest and have problems but nothing beats having Jesus in your life.
