Well I think the Army Band sounds good if you really like to sing. But if you like computers then try. If you like to draw join the Engineers. computers join air and missle defense, they run the Patriot missle defense battiers and such. Animals work with dog handling and training. Try visiting goarmy.com or talk to your local recruiter station in the old strip mall next to the goodwill. he he!

If you like computers, Military Intelligence would be good for you. I am in a Military Intelligence unit, but my job just requires getting dirty and sweating. We look at the Intelligence Analysts ( we call them 96 Bravo's b/c their designator is 96B) w/ no clue what they are doing as they make some of the coolest maps from some really neat computers. Seriously, if computers and maps is up your alley, tell your recruiter your interested in 96B and they should be able to show you a short little video on a CD rom that will give you a feel for it.

I'd second the motion on Military Intel, having spent 20 years there myself. You'll have all the maps and computers/computerized equipment you'd ever hope to see. If you have the aptitude, you can learn another language; if you have a good ear for music, you probably have some language aptitude.

Well, I don't know if this is an issue for you, but how do you feel about being deployed frequently? That was one thing I took into consideration about my career before I joined the Air Force. Another thing I would ask is, what is one skill you really want to learn that you can use later in life, after the military?

The army band has NO VOCALIST POSITIONS!!!! That MOS was deleted, so unless you play an instrument, that is OUT!!!.

Sorry, but, the Navy has positions for vocalists.

did you ever take the ASVAB in highschool...

its a skills test... it helps you find good jobs that might fit your knowledge etc...
you could always talk to your commander and ask them... or your sergeant... or talk to a recruiter... they will help you find something even if youre already in the army
i was homeschooled half my life so no i havent

Now is a tough time to get into the Air Force. I would find someone in the Army to talk to OTHER THAN A RECRUITER. Are you prepared for deployments?
