I do read the Bible and I am a scientist working in the geophysics/astrophysics area. And if I used my Bible as a textbook I'd be useless at my job. How many times do people need to be told the Bible is useless as a "How to do science" book?

99.99% of geologist may agree today but science is ever changing and todays beliefs, theroies, hypothosis, and proofs will eventually be proved wrong as always. I will stand by the ONE thing that is never changing.

No science is not ever changing on the major points. This science is ever changing is a popular myth not a fact. Most things never change - it is the minutae that change not major things like the age of the Earth or the behaviour of gases etc etc. A text book on electromagentism today bears a striking resemblance to one from 100 years ago.

well it is like this, I believe the bible wholeheartedly. But much of it is up for interpretation. Whose to say if we have interpreted correctly. Fact is we have dinosaur bones that prove this earth has been here for million if not billions of years. Now I don't take science and say it is gospel. But in this case I tend to belive it rather than our interpretation of the bible because of all the scienctific proof. It is irrefutable in this case.

A cherry picked list of revisionism that has so many errors as to be a farce. Most of the so called science comments in that list are not true attributions of science. The Biblical quotes are twisted to fit known facts. It's worthless revisionism - sort of like horoscopes.

The original Hebrew word here is not translated "navel", but rather part of the stomach. Pg 285 of "Wilson's Old Testament Word Studies" (by William Wilson, Hendrickson Publishers) also translates it as the muscles in the region of the belly.
So saying the creature has a navel is inaccurate.

More proof to avoid the NIV and similar simplistic and prudish translations.

The fact is that most translations of the Behemoth passage refer to a swingng penis, testicles and a powerful navel and loin region. Mammalian traits not archosaurian traits. Whether the Behemoth was pure myth or flowery language about hippos it was not a reference to a live dinosaur.
