Plants before the sun is pretty contradictory, don't you think?
I do not read the Bible that way at all. It is just the infidels that like to make up those stories about the Bible to demonstrate their lack of understanding of what the Written Word of God is telling us today in our generation.

And how much water does the bible claim their was during the flood?
I have no idea what your talking about. Can you give me a chapter and verse from the Bible and not some infidel web site somewhere. Because the infidels have NO idea what the Bible says. As you are demonstrating to me right now. This is the second time we have done this. Do you really think that Moses was so stupid as to say that the plants somehow were growing without a sun? We know that we eat plants for food. The plant takes the energy from the sun and the elements from the soil. That is why we need to eat for our strength, energy and our very substance.

Many times I have told you there IS NO contradiction between the Bible and Science. Every single attempt for you to find a contradition has only demonstrated your lack of understanding of the Bible and God's message for us today in and though the Bible. If you want to know what the Bible says then common sense will dictate that you find a man of God to teach you what the Bible says. Or allow the Holy Spirit of God to guide you and lead you into the truth. Then you do not need any man at all. But to allow infidels, skeptics, scoffers, apostate, and those sort of people to teach you the Bible is only going to get you more confused and further from the truth. AS I told you we are living in the apostasy. A falling away from the truth is a sign of the times and it is to be expected.

It is OK to look at science first. WE know when the Sun was Created and WE know when the Earth was Created. No where is this contradicted in Genesis chapter one or anywhere else in the Bible. I know your trying to make it look like there is a contradiction but your attempt will fail because there is no contradiction.

If you search Genesis ch 1 the word "Sun" and the word "Plants" is not in there at all. Would you like to try again to explain to me what the Bible says, using words that are actually in the Bible?

Enough water to go over the top of the mountains and hills that line the Tigris Euphrates river valley. The real world wide flood took place back at Pangaea when the super continent was broken up and the dinosaurs were destroyed. The God froze the water. The glacier era ended about 13,000 years ago and that was when we had an extinction and a population explosion or radiation. That is when the era we live in now began. I am a dispensationalist where a day is 1,000 years. Also a day is a very long age or era. Both are true because God is the same and He continues to do things the same way He always has. He does not change. The universal laws do not change. His plan is to restore creation back to His original plan and purpose. It took Him 7,000 years to create the world we live in and then because of Adam and Eve creation fell away from God. His plan of restoration or recreation is going to take 7,000 years also. We have around 1,000 years more to go. The 1,000 year reign of Christ is a time when man will rest from his works. The way God rested for a day after He created the world we now live in.

Grass is a plant, is it not?

Grass was formed before light for the day and a lessor light for the night, the moon.

I don't even know what to say about your explanation for the flood, I will just let that stand on it's own.

I think what your talking about here is more of a universal consciousness. One book I read a long time ago called it a cosmic consciousness. Science has only done a few experiments but what they have found is very interesting. Still Science has a long way to go to catch up with religion on this one. The Bible says we are to have the Mind of Christ, we are to be of one Mind and One Accord. We are to have the Divine thoughts of God.

Hi,

No, Not the universal consciousness which I ran into years ago. I think that idea is just some school of Philosophical thought, that has been renamed, so it's a theory, with people who believe in it. I have never seen any evidence of a universal consciousness as they describe it.

At this point, I must break off, as what I would like to say, is not allowed. At least I think it is not allowed.

LOVE,

There was light on the first day.

Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: H216 and there was light. H216

Gen 1:4 And God saw the light, H216 that it was good: and God divided the light H216 from the darkness.

Gen 1:5 And God called the light H216 Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Gen 1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light H216 from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

He must have made the sun twice then.

1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
1:13
And the evening and the morning were the third day.
1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
1:16
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Hi,

I am allowed to say this. I am encirling your heart, with my heart. I am talking and comforting it. I am also circling your body with my heart, and talking to you with words of comfort and respect, and thanks. You are getting virtual hugs with my heart.

I will do this for a few days.

LOVE,

I think that anyone with the help of the Holy Spirit of God can understand the Bible. I wonder if you are pulling Poe's law on me because you are clearly able to understand the Bible better then your putting on. Again, we know what Science says and we know that the Bible does not contradict science. So your attempt to try to show that the Bible contradicts Science is doomed to failure. It is to bad because there is a of information there that we can learn from. The Bible helps us to confirm that what Science tells us is true. If there really were a contradiction then it would only point out your error in understanding Science or that your translation or understanding of the Bible is in error. Because true Science and the Bible do not contradict each other.

What you need to look at here is: "lights in the firmament". The work God is doing is in the firmaments. This is the atmosphere. He is setting up the atmosphere or the firmaments for this dispensation. We know we are talking about the Sun and the moon when we read about the two lights. The Hebrews used the Moon and the month a lot more then we do today. For their calendar and for all their religious holidays. It is way to extensive to go into all of that Hebrew stuff right now. But Moses set up all the religious holidays and they could look at the sky to see where they are on the calendar.

The holiday of Pesach, or Passover, falls on the Hebrew calendar dates of Nissan 15-22. Nissan is the first month on the Jewish calendar. The Jewish calendar is based on lunar cycles. Towards the beginning of the moon’s cycle, it appears as a thin crescent. That is the signal for a new Jewish month. The Jewish calendar date begins at sundown of the night beforehand. Thus all holiday observances begin at sundown on the secular dates listed, with the following day being the first full day of the holiday.

So anywhere in the world the month begins with the lunar cycles. On the 15 day of the month is the Passover on the Hebrew calendar. This is what the Bible means when we are told: "let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years". Anyone with a grade school education can figure out how to look at the moon and determine when Passover is anywhere in the world.

What you are doing is changing what the Bible says so that it matches with science.

So much for science affirming what is in the Bible.

religion is a trap that takes a lifetime to get out of, some never make it.
But you did, didn't you?

You escaped the "trap" your parents put you in?

I wonder how many of you Internet scientists have actually taken the Hippocratic Oath for scientists.

And, if so, your conduct toward the Bible makes David King proud?

All of the science I have done has gone through an Institutional Review Board (IRB) which included non-scientists from the community at large. In fact, a local pastor has served on that IRB for quite a while now.

No I was lucky enough never to have been caught in the religious trap, imagine what it must be like to be trapped in Islam,
don't Christians feel sorry for all those misguided Muslims? of don't Christians care just as long as they have theirs?
