This year, I'm giving my garden area a REST...I try to do that every 7 years. So everything that is coming up are just VOLUNTEERS. Well this plant came up and it's huge. I'll take another picture and show you how big it is...it must have at least 20 of these squash/pumpkins on it....and the weird thing is, last year, I didn't even plant any squash or pumpkin in this garden. It's a beautiful SOMETHING....but I wonder what it is going to taste like! And if I save the seed, WHAT will the seed produce .

Well, looks like something in the cucurbit family. If it isn't good raw, it's probably good cooked. Could it be from garden/food scraps put into the compost bin and later into the garden?
