This is a hot topic between me and my husband.

If woman just listen to everything that their man says without any say God should have made us mute and dumb. He gave us minds to think and hearts to understand.

I think a healthy relationship means that a woman can submitt to her husband and a man can submitt to her wife. It is a partnership and in that partnership I trust him more and more. I let him take care of the care and all those decisions and he lets me take care of the decisions for something else. Of course our imput goes both ways however i suggest you don't say "i'm a man so I'm in charge" b/c that ain't gonna work in 2006 hon

My husband gets ticked when I dont make my own decisions.
He wanted a partner that could make their own decisions not one that needed to rely on him for everything.
His belief is that as a family we rely on each other, we work together.
If I need something, go out and get it, figure things out on my own.
For big purchases such as a vehicle, we sit and talk, its a decsion we both come to. I picked out the last vehicle as I drive it(mostly), otherwise he would have gotten a truck ;)

Anything to do with the children, Im the one in charge as Im the one who is home and therefore I know what is happening in their lives.
I think we're on equal grounds though when it comes down to it, a marriage needs to be about partnership not about who rules over who. Working together as a team.
