I guess this may just be my opinion, but the disciples asked this very question of Christ...although not in the very same words. Their question was what is the greatest commandment of all, pretty much meaning...what should we seek to accomplish first and foremost? The answer was to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and secondly to love thy neighbor as thyself. As Christ became man he showed us how to be fully human as God intended, and in being such we would fulfill God's plan for us. The hard part is learning to love as God has first loved us and sharing that love to all mankind. This is why we all fall short, yet our journey is to continue to become as perfect as we can possibly become.

Train up your heart to love others (and this means everyone) as we know Christ would love them. This, to me, will result in the fulfillment of God's will for us. For if we love as Christ did, we have then become the human God intended us to be...His "perfect" creation . I know this may seem very simplistic, but it is often the simple task that asks the very most of us.

So I say, I love you all!

In the love of our Saviour,

Alfred

Well see alot of my Protestant friends up at college always talk about "I feel God is leading me to do..." and I feel that sometimes but I don't use it in every day conversation, well unitl now I guess. And I was just wondering how I can tell if God is leading me or not, I get little voices in my head I have since I was a kid, some of them telling me to do bad things (to which I usually reply "get behind me Satan" in my head), some of them telling me to do good things which I'll be honest I don't always obey, and telling me to do things which don't seem to matter like "walk on the right side of that sidewalk" or "go around the long way." I remeber praying as a kid that I could hear God. I've heard monks talk about this, but God would not tell me to do anything bad so I know those aren't Him. I also heard a priest-monk say once that if he prayed really late into the night there was a small voice and that it was God speaking to him. Well you probably all think I'm nuts now so reply away....thanks...and if we could get some clergy in on this that too would be a plus!

Oh yeah one more thing I almost forgot...I also read recently in an artical on prayer in the OCF Basial Leaf that your supposed to ignore such voices during prayer, yeah so I'm confused...
