Being the Music Lover that I am I found Keith Richards (Rolling Stone) autobiography

"LIFE" a very Good Read- then I followed it up with the companion book (written by an avid Fan of Keith's)

(Good Stuff-a real philsophy of "life")

I've been reading various Christian books, some on Bible end-time prophecies by John Hagee, Hal Lindsay, David Wilkerson, and other authors. Perry Stone has good books about Bible Prophecy, and teaches Bible Prophecy on Christian tv. There also are videos on YouTube.com of Perry Stone's teaching, as well as Hal Lindsay, Jack Van Impe, John Hagee, Chuck Missler, and David Reagan of Lamb and Lion Ministries. I like all of their teachings. Their teachings are thorough and very informative for these end-times we are living in.

Hello Ley,

I've been reading the works of James Smith, a Christian author of the 1800s, and I highly recommend his books. Most of his books are relatively short, and the ones in bold at the link below are considered to be his best. You can read them free online or copy them to any text editor and read them at your leisure. So far, I would have a hard time choosing a favorite from among his books. They are in the public domain and completely free with no strings attached.

I'm currently reading and studying the works of James Russell Miller. He is quickly becoming another favorite author from the 1800s.

James Russell Miller, D.D., was born on March 20, 1840 at Frankfort Springs, Pennsylvania and died on July 2, 1912.

The author was an active pastor and prolific author of Christian books and materials. James Russell Miller was probably best known for his ministry to troops during the American Civil War with the United States Christian Commission. J.R. Miller completed his theological studies after the war was over and was ordained on September 11, 1867. He authored over 80 books, booklets, and pamphlets - along with a great many periodicals. Dr. J.R. Miller became the Editorial Superintendent of the Presbyterian Board of Publication and a very active pastor in a succession of churches.

Rev. James Russell Miller was one of the best selling Christian authors of his era. He had a total circulation of over two million copies during his lifetime. The Presbyterian Board of Publication, under his direction, published over 66 million copies of his periodicals in 1911.
