  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

She said, you don't wanna get smacked do you? I said nah, it's over anyway. Hehe

I've been born again for over 25 yrs and I've experienced this many times. Today was the strongest I've ever felt it. We already know what Deja vu means...already seen. As a believer that the Holy Spirit lives inside of me, and that He knows the end before the beginning, meaning He has already seen the course of my life before I was even born/ I can't prove this but I believe that when we experience Deja Vu this is a confirming experience that we are on the right path because he walked it before we did. It's not that we've experienced it before but rather God has. Some of us are more sensitive spiritually to be able to have the Deja Vu experience. I know people who seem to have never experienced it. I wonder why today the sensation seemed to be the strongest Ive ever felt. I can only attribute to a recent decision to live by faith/grow or develop my faith which undoubtedly has me asking God for wisdom to know what to do in my current situation. Knowing what I already believed about Deja Vu and reminded of a question I just asked probably a couple of days of God "Lord just show me that I'm on the right path". . Not only do I believe that I'm on the right path my theory is that if I continue growing my faith I may start seeing it before I experience it. God said He would show us things to come. We will see. www.kingdom-scribes.com

Really old thread but I find it interesting. I have thought that dejavu might actually be some leftover thing from when we dream and God teaches us as we sleep. (Lots of verses to confirm that). I have to believe we are every bit as nosy and inquisitive then as we are when we're fully awake and maybe we see something somehow. But if it were something He wanted us to really remember, I think we'd just really remember it.

I determined it was actually a manner of false spirit which just operates off of a basic lie in our feelings. We "feel like" we've done this before, ect.

Feelings like this aren't scriptural. It just introduces doubt and stuff.

The only exception is when God gives you a dream or vision, and shows you something in advance of it happening. A person incorrectly might think "Deja Vu"... but I believe if a person considers it long enough they would be like, "Oh, I already had dreamed this, that's why it is familiar."

That said, when God gives me dreams of future events, he uses very non-literal dream events to do it... 100% spiritually literal, but not literal in terms of what actually happens in the physical part of reality.
