What a shame. Look at how much you'll miss out on learning.Lol, no. More like "your stubbornness and unwillingness to listen to any point of view besides your own has discouraged me from engaging in any kind of intellectual discourse with you in the future."
According to my beliefs oral sex shouldn't even be a debatable thing as it shouldn't even be acceptable in any relationship even marriage but I understand that not all denominations follow this or believe in this and that's fine. But in my eyes oral sex is definitely equal to sex but it does not affect your virginity although I do think it can affect your purity in Christ as oral sex is still a very much intimate act altogether and if practiced should be done in marriage.
Wait up here - you are saying that oral sex should not be allowed between a husband and wife.
Why?
What a shame. Look at how much you'll miss out on learning.![]()
Yes, that is exactly what she is saying - probably because she was taught to follow God with her whole heart and not try to manipulate the "rules" when it comes to pleasing ourselves.
And what scripture specifically states that oral sex is not permitted between a husband and wife?
It is not a specific part of scripture that says it. It's just a personal conviction. Just like it may be lawful to get a tattoo, or your tongue pierced, a person's conscience may prevent them from doing it. It really has to do with the heart, and not about the letter of the law.
It would be about motives. If you are doing the act for selfish pleasure even though it makes your wife feel uncomfortable, then it's probably not a good idea to do it and respect her. It's a different story if it is consensual.
More like learning to reject God and is His word. What reward has anyone in heaven who receives the gift of the Holy Spirit from God, and then ignores Him for the rest of His life?Learning to reject facts and progress...such a shame.
Why would you think that it does? No one has made any such claim.

Just remember that you are from a different denomination and follow different teachings than I do. I follow the Orthodox teachings within the Church which are similar to the Catholic Church teachings on this matter.
I have been unclear on this and my apologies. I should have added that oral sex is acceptable within the marital act, used as foreplay, leading up to vaginal intercourse with the husband's climax inside his wife is morally permissable by the Church. Why? Because the marital embrace is both unitive and procreative. But understand this, procreative doesn't mean "resulting in conception" it means "capable of producing." In other words, putting the parts together as designed so that conception "might" occur.
The natural intent of sperm is to impregnate a woman, and this is only possible if it ends up in the vagina. The problem with oral sex when performed to completion is exactly that Natural Law is being violated.
Sperm obviously doesn't belong anywhere except the vagina. To deliberately deposit sperm in a mouth, stomach, or anus violates the purpose of our bodies. This is how I see it and I support this.
Well, essentially you did when you said this -
What are "the rules" if not scripture?
