Everyone has had different experiences. Naturally! I've had wonderful email communications transfer over to wonderful telephone calls transfer over to wonderful face time. Just no partner for life. And I accept that. But those ladies have been no different than ones I've met face-to-face first.......in terms of a turning out to be a life partner. I will say this though - there IS absolutely the real life "clicking" that has to happen. You could share & share but a face-to-face meeting might show you're not compatible. It can go the other way too.......meet someone you feel attracted to for _____ (fill in the blank reason) but after you learn more down the road via communications they don't pan for those reasons. Go with what you're comfortable with.

Cyber dating is a definate advantage for shy people.

Ok, I've tried the Cyber dating. To me it's difficult because you can't always 'read' the person by what they write. If you're lucky enough to actually TALK to them on the phone, you get to know more about them, but I agree - the 'face-to-face' thing is much better.
