So a CF post from 2005 contains exact words from the first video in the OP.

Does that prove conclusively that the words ORIGINALLY came from the 2005 CF post?

I mean, I don't care, but the post could have been taken from an already-existing source, could it not?.

I doubt that a 'true fundamentalist' originally composed the post or this string of words, because the 'parody of a fundie' is saying the world was made in seven days; which is not biblically correct -- it would be SIX DAYS. (God resting on 7th)

I say the whole string of words was made up by a person making fun of a fundamentalist; getting the number of days wrong, which I personally never took that literally anyhow. I don't get into these "Creationism vs Evolution" threads at all, because their whole premises seems to stem from taking a TOO LITERAL approach. Flat-Earthers, Young Earthers, people who literally believe Joshua commanded THE SUN to stand still and it did! I think it is hyperbole that Samson picked up a a donkey's jawbone and before he set it back down again, he had killed a THOUSAND Philistines, but of course the too-literal people would just say to me "well, you just don't believe in the Bible!"

Apparently, the poster is/was a 14 year old kid. But, could've been scripted from the beginning, who knows...anyways, I posted the vid. on that thread as well.

*Maybe he/she can be compensated and enjoy the last laugh...

Why dont you go over to the crevo forums and take a look yourself? You can watch the stupidity unfold in real time.

How can anyone beleive we evolved from monkeys heres a few questions for people who beleive that

1.If we did evolve from monkeys then how come babies arent born monkeys

2.Even Darwin said his theories were wrong before he died so why do you still believe them

3.do you really not believe the bible it says we were created in seven days not millions of years

4.how come we cant speak monkey

The 2005 post above is by someone making fun of fundies, putting words in the mouth of some mythical fundie. Does the poster believe in the fundie approach himself? I doubt it.

As far as going to the 'crevo' threads and looking at them -- I don't because frankly some of the things fundies allege is an embarrassment to me

I feel the percentage of Christians who actually believe in a flat earth, young earth, sun stood still, and Samson actually killed a THOUSAND Phillistines in a few hours -- I feel that percentage is small

Yeah, the kid could've cut and pasted from somewhere else, not knowing that it was a spoof argument...or, the whole thing could've been devised with the intent of making the vids. from the beginning. But, then that would smack of conspiracy...so... . I actually believe what the Bible says concerning these matters, but the argument in question is, obviously,a very poor one. I just don't waste my time trying to fit Biblical accounts into a "scientific" paradigm, it's not that I think that there aren't very good arguments for "fundie" interpretations...just not my forte.

if ya wanna say that the 14 year old kid is the origin of the string of words, fine, but I say those words are being PUT IN THE MOUTH of a fundie creationist

That's two so far...are they your words?
No, it wasn't me; what I remember is the original post and people commenting that he had never heard of the sun.

The submissions to FSTDT can come from anywhere, but a good number did come from ChristianForums, back when evolution was a hot debate topic. The forum is not atheistic as there are more than a few Christian non-fundamentalists who think science should be taught as science. Submissions can come from any forum.
