I see church as the body of Christ or fellowship groups and not the building. I actually consider house fellowship the true form of gathering and not in a building that people call a church. The church is God's people.

I can't find one here in Melbourne. I've been excommunicated from a few babylon churches for even floating it though. Lovingly showed the door lol.

Maybe you know of one hereabouts, Jeff? Help me out here.

Deciding what is an important doctrine appears to be a matter of denominational emphasis rather than objective truth or biblical content.

Ask a Seventh Day Adventist if Saturday Sabbath is important, a Presbyterian if Predestination is important, a Catholic if baptism is important and why. Each will have a different perspective despite what you or I may think is important or biblical.

I don't know that I have ever heard Hell preached on, as a place where a Christian might wind up if he or she is not careful. I've heard folks on TV, radio, and YouTube preach about it, but not in real life yet.

this is how you know a TRUE believer..!

or make excuses why you dont obey him and keep with your heart lungs and kidneys etc to the Lord or sign a card or just make a decision ,by faith or grace..etc etc..its a package deal all or nothing ..so you can do it HIS WAY (for salvation) or your own ideas (death)...

I don't know of any denomination which holds universalism as its official position, but I know plenty where it wouldn't be a problem to be a member and privately hold to universalism.

Hence the offer to discuss with him over PM, since we're in the same city and I might be able to help him find somewhere appropriate for him. Growing in Christ is a process, and I don't need someone to have reached a particular point of maturity to be willing to help him.

Do you up hold the Holy Bible as being God's infallible word ? Do you base your belief about your church from the Bible, man-made dogma or just your opinion ?

I believe that Scripture contains all things necessary to salvation; I don't hold to it being inerrant in every matter (it is not a science or history textbook).

That said, I have been involved in my denomination for somewhat more than twenty years now; my view of it is formed by Scripture, by my training in theology, and by my own personal experience.

Which has nothing to do with being willing to help the PP find a church which is appropriate for him.
