Unfortunately Baha'is often don't have that option. Usually their businesses get expropriated by the government. And they may not have the wherewithal to leave the country. Furthermore, Baha'is are not allowed to work government jobs and are even precluded from attending universities in Iran. The same is not true for Christians, Jews or Zoroastrians there. When Baha'is tried to set up their own online university, the government shut it down and arrested those involved in it:

If so, where or what is the hope?
I'm hoping that with the restoration of relations with Iran there will be more room to address human rights issues such as this. But I also think that the individuals who are behind these persecutions should be brought up to the Haque for crimes against humanity.

I admit that the commercial exploitation of Christmas has made it a holiday that I now dread rather than enjoy. Too much Santa and stress over giving gifts and not enough focus on what it really represents.
