question for lotuspetal.... I just had one comment - when you say you do not pray so as to honor your husband do you mean aloud? Or in private as well?
Hi Ruhama,

Only aloud and I wouldn't perform any outward act which would have been taken by him to mean I was dishonoring his wishes. In accordance with Acts 5:29 though, I couldn't stop praying altogether since it was during this time I needed the L-rd the most :) .

Not according to Corinthians 1 chapter 7.

"For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sancified by the husband. Else were your children unclean but now they are holy".

Well said Ghost. Love and marry who thou will.

Yeah, when I fell in love with my Christian girlriend, I wasn't a Christian. If she hadn't let that happen (and fallen in love with me), she wouldn't have been there for me when I needed her, I proably wouldn't be a Christian now. Love is a gift of God, and he blesses all people with it, not just Christians, because it is his most powerful ministry to the world.

Ask yourself this question: Is the person you care for compassionate, loving, understanding, morale and tolerant? If the answer is yes then what more do you need?

I know many Christians whose actions are anything but Christian. I also know many Agonists, Buddhists and Jews who live their life in an impeccably Christian-like manner. There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path; if you gained anything from the teachings of Christ I hope it would be that.
