They called me while I was out of town on a family matter, and I wasn't able to respond until I got back. I left a message with my contact information, but have yet to hear back from them.

Regardless of that, I am praying for the Lord's favor in pursuing this job. I worked for CFA from 2005 to 2007, and it was a wonderful job that I thoroughly enjoyed, even on the "bad days". I would dearly love to work with the company again (albeit under a different manager this time).

Please pray:

• That either Jamie (a woman) or Shane (the Owner/Operator of the store) would look upon me favorably for the position.
• That I would present myself professionally and in every way a servant of God who works to the best of His ability in me.
• That the Lord would guide my steps and open the door for an interview today.

Thanks girl! It's not really bad in the town I live but towns near me had a worst impact. The rain has really slacked off today! It's a lot clearer than the past few days! I even saw the sun trying to peek through this morning! ! ! PTL!

Atlanta GA got it real bad. I saw on the Weather Channel this reporter was out in the street in a boat! There was a car near him and the water was almost covering it completely! They said it was as bad as what a hurricane would do. I also heard that now 6 people have died I think. It's just a bad situation. Continue to pray for them.

I feel like I've been posting in here too much lately but I really could use some prayer today. I'm just feeling rather bummed and lonely.

Just pray that something opens up soon job wise. I don't know how much longer I can take of this.

I have a benefactor who has--out of the love Christ has given him for me--decided to make some of my debts to others disappear. His condition is that I find a regular, steady, "9 to 5" type job.

I am going to be following up on several leads today to make that happen. Chick-fil-A didn't work out for me, so I'm going to other places. As you think of me, please keep me in your prayers today.

I don't think Chick-fil-a is gonna work out for me either. They told me I was third in line for an interview but that was like a few weeks ago and they still haven't called me. (I've checked on it numerous times). I wish they would just tell me one way or the other ya know? It's driving me crazy. I mean seriously how hard it is to make a 5 min or so phone call to set up an interview time or talk to me when I go in to eat? It doesn't make sense which is why I just don't think they're interested or either they already hired someone.

I pray God will lead you to the right job.

I would appreciate some prayers for my BF's uncle. His name is Dale. He has been battling brain cancer for several years and is finally succumbing to it. My BF has been there with him since Sunday and sends me regular updates about Dale's status. He just texted me and told me that Dale has not woken up today and his respirations are shallow and are about 4 breaths per minute at this point.

I had the honor of meeting Dale back in May and can tell you that he is a wonderful man and has a beautiful spirit. He will be deeply missed. But, I'm asking for prayers for God to finally heal him and bring him home. It's time.

I would appreciate prayers for my BF, as well. Dale has been like a father to him over the years and J is taking this very hard.

I'd really like some prayer regarding my faith and especially my practice of Christianity. I'm still very much a Christian, but I feel that my views of Christianity are growing in a new direction. I've been praying that God guides me, but I would also like additional prayer that I follow what is right and true....and not be led astray as I go down this new path.
