i posted a request about starting other work at my job. that didn't turn out the way i thought it would. instead, they want me doing something else. good news is that it will still come with an increase in pay. (if they like my work) i start going in early to train monday. please pray that i will grasp the job quickly, and treat the people fairly.

please keep praying. i've been at the assignment going on 3 weeks now without desired pay. they tell me it's in the works and they are close to getting it finalized, but i want my money soon.

also, i feel myself slipping in attitude and disposition. i'm not going to be able to do this job unless i'm abiding in Him seriously. please pray i'll draw close to God while working this. thanks

Update: He's got surgery scheduled for tomorrow to put the part of his skull back in. Pray that all goes smoothly, and for recovery to be 100%. He has been doing well with solid food in the meantime, which is another positive development.

I can give more info now on my family's situation. Thanks Sharon for putting the prayer request in I found out my grandma has stage three lung cancer. It's in her lymph nodes as well. I'm getting conflicting reports from my family. My grandpa says they caught it early and they're optimistic. They're headed south for warmer weather and will try some chemo. Others aren't so optimistic and don't think she will even survive the chemo. But there is hope that she survives it so please pray for her!

help me pray for a youngster named rashaan. he's a boy i met at the library. he just walked in and came up to me and asked me what my name is. i told him and asked if if his was rashaan. (we've talked before) he asked if he could just call me friend. bless him.

Six students at my school were involved in a car accident earlier this evening. One of them, and the driver (and only passenger) of the other truck died at the scene. The remaining five students are currently in the hospital.

I'm not been doing so well lately. This usually happens at the beginning of the year. I have suffered from periods of depression most of my life where I feel so detached from the world. I just want to be happy and enjoy life like everyone seems to be doing.
