I just re-submitted my application for SSI (Supplemental Security Income) benefits. They rejected me last time based on the fact that I foolishly found it necessary to work in order to eat. I'm praying that they pull their head from a very dark, unpleasant place this time.

Urgent Request-
(first the article- edited of course):
Two men are at UTMC following a head-on crash along a foggy U.S. ***. Wednesday morning. It happened east of **********, not far from the U.S. *** split.

Shortly after 5 a.m., the driver of a Ford Focus headingwest crossed left of center, into the path of an oncoming pick-up truck. Rescue workers spent nearly an hour cutting the roof off the car with the jaws of life. They freed ************, 23, of *****. Emergency personnel took ********* to the University of ************** where he was last listed in serious condition.

The driver of the pick-up, ***************, 51, of ***************, stepped out of his vehicle when an oncoming tractor-trailer hit him and clipped the wreckage, according to the accident report from the Henry Co. Sheriff's Office. ********* was also taken to ********** where he too was listed in critical condition.

Update on the one in purple... He's my cousin's step-dad:
As of last night it was the following- he had a brain bleed, fractured back and neck, and a portion of his right foot had to be amputated. and as of a few hours ago the update was no further swelling, his sedation was lifted and he was able to respond to their questions by sqeezing their hands! but they have him on a respirator until the brain bleed stops!

So please pray for all of them!

I'm having a horrible time trying to contact the HR department at the library. I really need to do whatever I can to find out about even some entry level employment or volunteer work there before I start the library diploma program in the new year.

Prayers would be appreciated.

I have a court date on May 16th and could possibly go to jail for the simple fact that I was flat broke (and could not afford insurance or the stickers for my license plate). Please pray that the judge has mercy on me.

No real updates since I posted this... And please keep Phantom in your prayers again. I had to rush up to the ER last night. He was having chest pains and difficulty breathing. Doctors think it might (keyword might) have been a mild heart attack. We don't know yet. It is known in his family for the men to have them early in life so. He's okay now and home and getting rest but keep him in your prayers!

Wow I'm praying for all these requests. The devil is busy at work. But our God is greater than all this!

Please pray for my friend's mom who is struggling with symptoms from her second stroke. She needed emergency surgery. Also, my friend is stationed in I believe North Carolina and is looking to get transferred to Michigan so he can be around his family. Please pray for both of them in the name of Jesus Christ Amen!
