I just found out another one of my first mentors has cancer. I just lost my first mentor to cancer a month ago Please pray for him and his family.

Asking for prayers for my Aunt. It's my mom's baby sister... She's in a mental hospital in Massachusetts because she tried to commit suicide again (first time was about ten years ago) .

Can I please ask for some prayers for my practice midterm exams this Saturday? They're only practice and don't count toward our grades, but it's our only opportunity for a true and accurate simulation, complete with thorough feedback from our professors. So I'm a little worried and stressed about them. There's just SO MUCH material.

holidays are coming up and that means specialty candy needs to be made. i put in a request to do the work with "nin-O". the boss said he would let me do it. then yesterday i was thinking to myself that the job was going to a lot harder than what i do already. i told him that i want to get increase in my wage if im going to do it. he said he didn't have a problem with that, but that he would have to talk to his heads in order to get it o-kayed.

this job will give plenty of overtime. i'm just praying that i can get a little more on the hour doing it. i pray that if they don't agree to what i initially want then they will at least negotiate.

there's william. a man who has been displaced from his home and is currently homeless. he's eating a meal that the Lord has provided for otuside of the place im posting from.

pray that he will come to know God in an intimate way.
pray that he will be allowed back in to his area of residence.
immediate:he's meeting a deacon from a local church in about half an hour. that the appointment will go as God wills.

about to go out and "disciple all nations" and share the "free gift". going out to talk, pray and hopefully heal people in the city area quite soon with this ministry team! Pray that God will send us non believers and seekers to share his word with, may the Holy Spirit guide us

I've been in pain for about a month now.
Please pray for me that the pain goes away. I think I can handle emotional pain better than I can physical pain. I can't stand physical pain

A young man at church is having heart aneurism surgery. His mother died from one of those years ago. He's a good guy and a friend to all, please pray for him.

Update: Surgery was reportedly successful. Recovery of course, is ahead.

Another update: He is not entirely stable, his blood pressure is higher than it needs to be, which is hard on the stitches on his heart valve.

Another update: They're having trouble with a tear in the piece they replaced which may have traveled to his brain so they need to do a procedure that brings serious risks.

Update to this update: He had a stroke. We're seeing if he will make it these next few days.

Going in for another surgery to try and release some of the pressure on the brain his blood clot caused. He moved his arm earlier and was able to make eye contact. Pray for the surgery and his healing, pray for courage for him and his family. He is a believer, but this is the one thing I have known him to really fear.
