One of my friends had surgery on Wednesday and is now not doing very well. He can't shake a fever, and probably has an infection from the surgery and may be admitted to the hospital by morning.

I have a prayer request for one of my besties, her baby (Clay) has been diagnosed with rsv which is a form of bronichitis for babies. He's been really sick, and just the other day had to stay over night at the hospital. He's almost 3 months now.

Going to the doc at 12:15 today. Actually slept a little last night, so I feel a BIT better, but my head is throbbing, I'm pretty sure it's a sinus infection.

Also please pray for Don - he has to travel back to Texas later this week to wrap up some stuff there. Prayers for safety and that he gets back to Delaware without a hitch. Thanks!

We find out the results from the oncologist today for Mom. She has surgery friday to remove the tumor from her colon and her liver. I'm gonna be staying with her in the hospital so she has company and support. It's all pretty terrifying. I just pray the stuff in her lungs isn't as bad as it could be. I don't feel like I can think of anything but this cancer. I don't feel like I can see any future other than taking care of her. I'm torn between what I want and what my family needs. I don't know how to handle her sickness and all of the other stuff that she struggles with. I used to think the Serenity prayer that she learned in AA was trite, but now all I want for myself is the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

My back is playing up. It's been sore for nearly a week now and it's just kicked it up a notch. I don't have time for this.
