CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Gosh, I wonder if my insurance would pay for that sort of thing. 
We don't get many floods here in the desert. I would hope that it would, I need a new car/truck....if our insurance would take care of the loss, we would buy a new truck. If it wouldn't....I guess we would figure out how to buy a new truck anyway. You can't get anywhere without wheels here.

That isn't a "What if" question. But, I'll try to answer it. Oh gosh, I guess the coolest thing I've ever done (IMO anyway) was to break the regional speed record for backstroke and get written up in the paper for it when I was in High School. The coolest thing I think other people would think I've done is wait on Billy Dee Williams, or Elizabeth Mongomery, or a number of other famous actors who were frequent customers at Carter Sexton Art Supply.
What if medicine had discovered an enzyme or nutrient that would stabalize your metabolism so that you could never lose or gain weight, but would be at your healthy weight as long as you kept taking it?
